Chapter 55

James' POV

Thursday, May 26th. 

These past few months I have fully recovered. I mean no one knows how I feel about myself, but that's the least thing that matters. Jacky and I spend time every once in a while. I haven't been myself still, and I doubt I ever will. I haven't talked to Cristiano at all. He's tried to talk to me, but I ignore him. The guys try to get me to talk to him but I just don't listen to them. What's their point of even trying when they could tell they can't change anything. Salo is going to be staying with me for a couple weeks. Daniela thinks that I'll make me feel better, and I know it will. She's going to spend 3 days here with me and then fly over to London to visit her brother for a bit. They were going to arrive here tomorrow. Salome was suppose to stay with me for about 2 weeks. Training had finished and I was in the locker room getting all my things. I then noticed all the guys had left and the only one in here was Cristiano. I walked over to the door and it was locked. 

James: Guys this isn't funny unlock the door. 

Marcelo: Not until you talk to Cris. 

Sergio: We will unlock the door then!

James: Well then I guess you'll have to wait all day and night. 

Isco: How hard is it to forgive him?! He's your damn teammate! 

James: Exactly he's just a teammate nothing else. Not a friend or anything else so why don't you unlock the door!

Gareth: Isco didn't mean it that way. He was trying to say that you should get along with Cris. 

Cristiano: Guys just unlock the door. I don't know why you guys are still trying. 

Pepe: They're still trying because they think one day he will change his mind. 

Cristiano: You're part of this too?!

Pepe: Yeah, how could I not?!

Cristiano: Who else is in this? 

Keylor: Well, it's Nacho, Jese, Toni, Luka, and me! 

Toni: Hi! 

I rolled my eyes and went threw my bag and grabbed a cigarette. I light it up and was about to begin to smoke it when Cristiano turned over to look at me. I knew by pretending that I was about to smoke they would open the door. 

Cristiano: Guys open the damn door James just lit up a cigarette. 

Jese: What if he is lying? 

Nacho: Why would he lie? 

Luka: He has no reason to lie. The only one that would lie is James. 

Toni: Shut up and open the door! (he opens the door for him) 

James: Thanks guys! (he grabs his things and walks out) 

Marcelo: Where do you think you are going? 

James: Home, oh and also I wasn't going to really smoke the cigarette I just knew you would open the door if I did that. 

Sergio: See Toni you shouldn't have opened the door! 

James: Bye! 

Marcelo: I'm going with you. 

James: Alright. 

Marcelo and I began to walk outside to my car. I had no idea why we wanted to come with me, but I needed some company. I began to drive back to my house because I had no idea where we suppose to go. 

Marcelo: Where are we going? 

James: To my house. Where else? 

Marcelo: Um.. to go to the club.

James: Go to the club on a Thursday? You're kidding me. 

Marcelo: I was only kidding. 

James: Better be, I've been meaning to ask you this. 

Marcelo: What is it? 

James: Are you and Peyton still together? 

Marcelo: Of course. 

James: I just haven't seen you 2 out in a while now. 

Marcelo: Because you have been disconnected with the world. 

James: True. 

Marcelo: Do you think you'll be ever to forgive Cristiano? 

James: Can you not talk about him? I want nothing to do with him. 

Marcelo: Fine, but you know he cares about you. 

James: If he did he would have never said that. 

Marcelo: I'm never going to get you to change your mind am I? 

James: No, not at all. 

Marcelo: Isn't Salo coming tomorrow? 

James: She is. 

Marcelo: Is Daniela coming to the Champions League final? 

James: Of course. She said she wanted to take Salo that's why she was going plus she wanted to give me some support. 

Marcelo: I love how you and Daniela are still in good terms even after getting divorced. 

James: We agreed that we would always support each other. Whenever she needs my support I'll be there for her, and when I need hers she will be there for me. 

Marcelo: Do you ever wish that you guys didn't get divorced? 

James: Let's not talk about it. 

Marcelo just nodded. I'm not the one to really to talk to anyone about the divorce Daniela and I had. We decided to get a divorce because we didn't think we should be together that we were better as friends. Ever since then Daniela hasn't moved on, but I have. I feel in love with Jacky and till this day I was still deeply in love with her. No one will ever change the way I feel about her.
