Chapter 44

Jacky's POV 

Thursday, February 11th. 

I couldn't deny that once Oscar kissed me I felt butterflies, but I didn't want to deal with any of boy drama. I just wanted to focus on my baby that's it. We pulled away and I just looked out the window. I didn't want to admit to myself that I liked that kiss. It was the least thing I wanted to do. 

Oscar: You can't deny that you didn't feel anything?

Jacky: I didn't. 

Oscar: You know you don't have to lie. 

Jacky: I'm not lying. Can you just not question me? 

Oscar: Jacky, I'm not trying to question you I just know there was something there. You can't even deny it. 

I sighed as I looked at Oscar. That's when my phone rang. I'm glad it did. It took me out of this situation that I don't want to face. I got out of the car and saw who was calling. I was shocked that James was calling me. 

Phone call with James: 

James: Hey Jacky. 

Jacky: Hi James, what brings you to call me? I thought you didn't want to talk to me. 

James: I thought about for a couple of weeks. 

Jacky: And? 

James: I am not going to deny it these past few weeks have been hard for me, but it made me realize that I want to be there for you through your pregnancy. After all what kind of friend would I be if I wasn't there to support you?

Jacky: It makes me happy that you will be there for me since Neymar decided to leave me. 

James: He was a jerk. He had everything but let it slip out of his hands really fast. He probably realized that what he wanted he lost it. 

Jacky: It's too late for him, I'm not going back to him. He's a dick. 

James: He is honestly. What even went down between the two of you? 

Jacky: He thought I cheated on him, which is stupid but I'm so over it. 

James: He's literally an idiot. 

Jacky: Well, it was great to hear from you again. I would like to continue this conversation with you, but Oscar is waiting for me. 

James: Oh, okay um bye. 

Jacky: Bye. 

End of phone call. 

I hung up the phone and turned to see Oscar standing there looking up at the sky. I sighed, I really liked the kiss but I didn't want to make him believe that I would have a relationship with him. Maybe another time, but certainly not now. I walked over to Oscar and hugged him. He hugged me back and sighed. 

Oscar: I'm sorry. (he whispered) 

Jacky: Nothing to be sorry about, Oscar. (she looks up at Oscar, as she keeps her arms around him) 

Oscar: Yes there is. I shouldn't have said that you lied about what you said. I was just hoping you felt the same. (he looks at her) 

Jacky: If you would have done that any other time I would have told you what I really felt, but I just got out of a relationship with Neymar and it wasn't pretty. I just have a lot going on, so I'm sorry. (she sighed) 

Oscar: You shouldn't be sorry, I should have thought about your break up with Neymar. I knew you two had a difficult break up, but I was really hoping you would feel the same thing. 

Jacky: Let's just enjoy the last days together, alright? 

Oscar: Sounds good to me. 

Jacky: Just one last thing before we go through these last days. 

Oscar: What? 

I leaned up and gave one last kiss to Oscar. I then pulled away. He looked at me and smiled. I pulled away from him and we walked to his house. He opened the door and we went inside. I told him goodnight and I left to the guest room. I sat on the bed and sighed. I don't why I just did that. I shouldn't have kissed him again. I shouldn't have. I changed out of my clothes and put on different ones. I went under the covers and quickly drifted off to sleep.

Also next chapter was suppose to be Oscar's, but I am going to make it James' chapter. A lot of things are going to be going on with him. You'll see why.
