Chapter 86

Neymar's POV

Wednesday, June 13th. 

It's been over a year since Bruna and I have been back together. Life has been great, but now it's that time again. Where either you'll be happy or you'll be in tears. You don't know what it will lead to. There is 32 different countries and they are all here for a reason to play soccer and win. 32 amazing countries it's a hard battle, but one team will be a champion and I'll try my best so that team that wins is us. It's always has been a dream of mine, but I want to do this for the Brazilian fans. The World Cup four years ago had so many memories I hope this World Cup has memories except I'm hoping they are good ones. I was currently in the locker room and looked around with a small smile on my face. I have never been this happy if I am being honest. 

Oscar: Are you ready to go? 

Neymar: Been ready. 

Oscar: Didn't look like it. You kept looking around and smiling at everything like a weirdo. 

Neymar: Shut up. 

Oscar: Get your ass up and let's go. 

Neymar: I just have a question. 

Oscar: What is it? 

Neymar: Are you ready for another World Cup filled memories? 

Oscar: Of course.

After practice. 

Once practice had ended and we had gotten changed I walked over to Oscar and we decided to go eat lunch together so we could bring back the memories. Once we had arrived we got a table and ordered our food. 

Oscar: I hope this world cup turns out to be good. 

Neymar: I do too, and I hope none of us get injuries. 

Oscar: I hope so too. 

Neymar: I just want to have good memories.

Oscar: I do too. 

Neymar: Have you moved on from Jacky? 

Oscar: Honestly no. 

 Neymar: How come? 

Oscar: I don't know. I just haven't found anyone that had caught my attention, you know? 

Neymar: Yeah, I do. 

Oscar: How is Jasmine? 

Neymar: Really good, she is turning 2 this year. I think she has grown up way to fast. 

Oscar: Does Davi get along with her? 

Neymar: Yeah, he loves her. 

Oscar: That's good, how are you and Bruna? 

Neymar: We are great. (he smiles) 

Oscar: That's really great to see you happy. 

Neymar: Enough about me, how has your life in China been? 

Oscar: It's been good, I have gotten a lot of playing time. 

Neymar: That's great, I'm happy for you. 

Oscar: Thanks. 

We continued our conversation till we had decided to go for a walk and catch up a little more. I was actually enjoying his company. I have actually missed being close to Oscar, but ever since Jacky appeared in our lives our friendship was never the same, but I don't mind it at all.
