Chapter 81

James' POV 

Friday, November 18th. 

While I waited for Jacky to get here. I was outside kicking the soccer ball around. Pretty much what I have done is either be at the gym or stay after practice to work on my skills again. Most of the time the guys would tell me to go with them, but I wouldn't want to. I knew I had to get better because maybe I had a chance to for once be Real's first choice. I had finally convinced everyone that I was fine. Which was good, I really didn't want them to worry about me anymore. I heard a knock and I put the ball away and ran to my front door. Once I opened the door I saw it was Jacky with Jasmine. I smiled and moved a side so she could walk in. Once she walked in I closed the door and turned to look at her. 

James: Hey. 

Jacky: Hi, do you want to hold her? 

James: Can I? 

Jacky: Of course. (she hands Jasmine to him) 

James: (he takes Jasmine and holds her in his arms) She's adorable. 

Jacky: Thanks. 

James: Do you want anything? 

Jacky: No, not right. 

James: Have you eaten anything? 

Jacky: No.

James: Okay, good. I'm going to take you and Jasmine out to this new restaurant.

Jacky: You don't have to. 

James: I want to, plus I love eating there. 

Jacky: When was the last time you had eaten there? 

James: 2 months ago that's why I want to go. 

Jacky: Alright, sounds good. 

James: Awesome, just let me know when you are hungry so we could go. 

Jacky and I walked into my living room and sat down. I continued to hold Jasmine till she finally fell asleep. I smiled as I looked down at her. 

Jacky: Did she fall asleep? 

James: Yeah, she did. 

Jacky: Do you want me to hold her? 

James: No, it's fine. How have you been? 

Jacky: I've been good, and you? 

James: I've been great. 

I gave her a small smile hoping she would believe me. She returned that small smile. We continued to talk about random things before we decided to go eat. I held Jasmine in my arms and Jacky grabbed Jasmine bag. We walked outside and decided to go in Jacky's car. Jacky went in the back with Jasmine so she could find her. I pulled out of my driveway once we were all inside. It took 20 minutes to get to the restaurant. Once we arrived Jacky had finished feeding Jasmine. We all got out and got a table. Once we ordered our food Jacky went to the bathroom with Jasmine. I waited there till I finally saw someone I knew it was Cristiano and he was with Sergio and Gareth. Before they turned to look at me Jacky had gotten here.

 Jacky: This place is nice. 

James: It is nice isn't it? 

Jacky: It is. 

James: I love coming to eat here, but haven't been able to because I had gotten busy these past 2 months. 

Jacky: Really?
