Chapter 75

James' POV

Monday, September 5th. 

I had made my decision to stay with Real Madrid, hoping that I would get another chance to prove that I was good enough to be on the starting line up, but as of now I don't find myself good enough. I sat down on my couch and sighed. I knew that I wasn't good enough to be playing for Real Madrid, but I choose to stay. I don't even like communicating with the players. I heard a knock on the door and I sighed getting up seeing that it was Tess. She didn't tell me she was coming so it was a shock to me that I saw her here. 

James: What are you doing here? 

Tess: Coming to check on you. 

James: Did I do something wrong? 

Tess: No, of course not. 

James: It's odd that you didn't tell me you were coming, but come in. (he moves out of the way) 

Tess: Well, I didn't know I was coming but then I was invited to something here in Madrid. (she walks in and closes the door) 

James: What were you invited to? 

Tess: Um..well some of the guys that play with you in Real Madrid invited us to the club tonight. They wanted me to tell you since you probably would say no. Just saying you're going to go. I'm not taking a no. 

James: I don't want to go. 

Tess: I told you I'm not taking a no. 

James: I told you I'm not going, and if I don't want to go I'm not going to get forced to go there. 

Tess: Please, James. You need to have fun. 

James: I don't have to go to the club to have fun. 

Tess: I tell you what, let's go for a hour and if you want to leave we can. 

James: I don't want to go. 

Tess: Please. 

James: Who even goes to a club on Monday? 

Tess: Your friends. 

James: Correction, teammates. 

Tess: Whatever, go get ready. I'm going to go get ready. 

I watched as Tess walked away. I sighed, I really didn't want to go but I guess I'll just go to make her happy. I walked into the room and grabbed a random pair of dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt. I walked into the bathroom and took my clothes off taking a quick shower. Once I finished I got out, changed, and fixed my hair. After 20 minutes of fixing my hair I finally got it perfect. I walked downstairs to see Tess there all ready, I smiled as I saw her she looked beautiful. 

At the club. 

Once we got to the club we got out of the car and made our way into the club. I put my hand on her lower back as we walked into the club. We walked to the VIP area, and got greeted by some of the players. We took a seat somewhere and got the first drink of the night. I drank about 3 other drinks after that. It felt good drinking again. Tess grabbed my hand and we began to dance together, she had her arms wrapped my neck and I had my arms on her waist. I looked into her eyes as a slow song came on, and all of a sudden I felt myself lean in and I kissed her. I felt her kiss me back. Once we pulled away she gave me a small smile and we decided to go sit down. I drank 4 more drinks and finished another. I was about to get another and Tess looked at me.
