Chapter 10

~Marcelo's POV~

Cris and I finally arrived to the hospital to check on James. He really has me worried. I wish he would have just talked to us. We walked into the hospital and quickly ran to the desk. The nurse looked at us like we were crazy.

Cristiano: What room is James Rodriguez in?

Marcelo: Is he okay?

Nurse: He is in room 478 in the 2nd floor and talk to Dr. Arthur about that.

Cristiano: Thank you.

We quickly ran to the elevator. We really wanted to see how James was doing and see if he was going to be okay. Once the elevator came down we quickly got in it and pushed the 2nd floor button. Once we arrived at the second floor we ran like crazy looking for the room. We finally found it and walked inside seeing the doctor in there with a sleeping James.

Marcelo: Is he okay?

Dr. Arthur: He's doing alright just that we well have to send him to rehab.

Cristiano: To rehab? Why?

Dr. Arthur: He had a lot of different drugs in his system so we think the best thing is to send him off to rehab and hope he will recover.

Marcelo: Is it possible we could ask you for a favor?

Dr. Arthur: What is it, sir?

Marcelo: Well we kinda are hoping that this story of him using drugs doesn't go out. Is it possible that you could say that he came to hospital for another reason. We can't let our coach or anyone know about this.

Dr. Arthur: Wait, (looks up and sees Marcelo and Cristiano) you're THE Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano: Yeah that's me.

Dr. Arthur: I'll make sure not to let any social media that he came here because of drugs.

Marcelo: Thank you doctor. Is there anything you want?

Dr. Arthur: No nothing.

Cristiano: Thank you.

Dr. Arthur: I'll leave you with your friend now.

Marcelo: Thank you once again.

Dr. Arthur: (nods and walks out)

Cristiano: He was such a nice guy.

Marcelo: He truly was.

Cristiano: What are we going to tell the coach and the rest of the teammates?

Marcelo: I'm not even sure because if we tell them the truth it will probably end up bad.

Cristiano: We will think of something with the other guys that know about this.

We texted the guys not to tell anyone about what happened to James. They agreed that they will stay quiet. We waited for James to wake up and ask him how he is. Cristiano left to go get us food so I just stayed here waiting for him to wake up. I saw him move and I kept looking at him. I saw he opened his eyes.

James: Why can't I go home already?

Marcelo: James.

James: (he slowly moves his head to look at Marcelo) I didn't know you were here.

Marcelo: Of course I would be here.

James: What's going to happen to me? (he looks down at his hands)

Marcelo: You are going to rehab. They think you're addicted to drugs.

James: But I'm not addicted to drugs.

Marcelo: They found a lot of drugs in your system so of course they think you're addicted to it. Even if you only did it for like a week. James why were doing drugs?

James: I don't want to talk about.

Marcelo: James, you can't keep your feelings in all the time you need to talk to someone.

James: Leave me alone. (He slowly gets up)

Marcelo: What are you doing?

James: Leaving.

Marcelo: You can't leave.

James: Watch me.

Marcelo: I'm not going to let that happen. (He goes outside and calls some nurses and tells them what happened)

I felt bad for telling them about James. A couple of doctors and nurses went in there and all I heard was James screaming to let him go. Till finally his screams stop. I hope he really does get well soon. I want him to recover.
