Chapter 71

James' POV 

Sunday, July 3rd. 

Today I had decided to go to Barcelona to go visit Nicole and then go see Tess where she works. I wanted to know how Nicole was doing. Last week she wasn't doing so well with the whole Isco thing and I haven't heard anything about her. I spent a lot of time with Tess, but she always visits me and I never end up visiting her. So I hope today I end up visiting her and not at her restaurant. Ever since the thing that happened between Marcelo and I, I really haven't talked to any of the guys. They have tried to get in contact with me, but I avoided them. I also avoid to go to my house in case they try to visit. I especially ignore Marcelo because I really didn't want to talk to him. I began my 5 hour drive to Barcelona. 

At Barcelona. 

I had finally arrived at Jacky's and Irina's apartment. I parked my car in their driveway and got my things and got out. I noticed that Jacky's car wasn't here. I walked to the door and knocked on it. The door was quickly opened and I saw Irina standing there. 

Irina: Hey James, what brings you around here? 

James: Just wanted to visit Nicole and wanted to see how she is doing. 

Irina: It's a good thing that you came here I was just about to go leave and catch my flight because I am going to France to go to Cristiano's semi-final game. Maybe you could try and stay till Jacky arrives? 

James: Depends because after I stay here with Nicole for a little bit I was also going to visit my friend that lives here. 

Irina: That one girl that you always hang around and no one knows her name? 

James: Pretty much and her name is Tess.

Irina: You actually told me her name? 

James: Why would I hide her name? 

Irina: I don't know, but are you dating her? 

James: No, she is just a good friend of mine. Where did Jacky go anyways? 

Irina: Uh huh, she went with Neymar to the ultrasound. 

James: They actually went together? 

Irina: Yes, they did. She would have gone with Oscar but he went back to England for something I forgot what it was. 

James: Is he going to come back? 

Irina: I'm not sure, I think it's her turn to go visit him I don't really know how their relationship works. 

James: You and me both. 

Irina: I would love to continue to talk with you, but I have to go my uber arrived. 

James: It's fine, but do you need help with your bag? 

Irina: If you  don't mind. 

James: I don't. (he picked her bag)

Irina: Thank you. 

I just nodded and followed her to the uber. I put her bag in the uber and then gave her a hug wishing her a great trip. She had asked me why I haven't answered Cristiano's messages and I just would say no reason since I really didn't want to tell her why. She just nodded and got into the uber and the driver drove off. I walked back over to the door and walked back inside to see Nicole sitting on the couch and just staring at the TV. It ended up reminding me of me for some reason. I sat down next to her and she looked at me.
