While rebuilding the Grey Wardens and establishing Vigil's Keep, Dawn- the queen of Ferelden and the new Warden Commander- is faced with a new challenge. Despite the fact that the archdemon was defeated, the darkspawn did not retreat back into the Deep Roads and a new variety of darkspawn have been discovered.
It is Dawn Theirin's mission to find out what happened, and who leads this new army of darkspawn.
