expectations : dallas

"why won't you just admit you're two-timing me?" dally barked at you. you both were in the curtis household with all the guys staring at you. your brother - two-bit - looked like he was about to knock dal out.

"excuse me? i saw you with that red head at the nightly double!" you yelled right back at him. fire seemed to build up in his raging brown eyes. he raised his hand ready to hit you but the next thing you knew, two-bit was standing in front of you protectively.

"go ahead. hit my baby sister. see what happens." two growled dangerously, his usual dancing grey eyes were filled with fire.

at that, realization dawned on dally. his hands tugged at his hair as he realized he was just about to hit you. suddenly, he turned around and booked it out of the house.

darry walked over to two and tried to calm him down. the next thing you knew, sodapop had you in a bear hug and you cried into his chest. he comfortingly stroked your hair until your cries subsided. you were shorter than him, but it wasn't that hard to hug each other.

you frowned as you watched dally walk up to me. "what do you want dallas?"

"i want you back. and i'm gonna make it up to you." he sighed playing with his lighter.

"what're you gonna do?" you asked.

"well, i wanna take you somewhere," he held out his hand. "c'mon."

you hesitated before lightly placing your hand on his. "this better be worth it, winston."

he led you to a large field that over looked most of tulsa. the stars were visible which made even more of an incredible view. "dal, this is beautiful."

"i found it a couple nights ago." he mumbled under his breath. you just couldn't help it anymore, you turned around and tangled your hands in his hair before pressing your lips to his.

his arms found their way around your waist as he kissed back. "does that mean i'm forgiven?" he asked as he pulled back.

you let out a cute laugh as he gazed down at you. "yes." you informed.
