you watched with a smile as sodapop curtis and steve randle came up in line for the ferris wheel. they both handed you their tickets.

"thanks doll." steve murmured.

"thank you honey." soda smiled brightly at you. you rolled your eyes but smiled back.

after around four hours, soda and steve came up in line for the 42nd time and handed you their tickets.

"wow. you guys must really love this ride." you laughed humorfully.

"only cause you work here, beautiful." soda grinned, earning a chuckle from you. he climbed up leaving steve a few steps behind.

"he's only riding this because of you." steve laughed lightly before following behind soda. a small smile tugged at the corners of your lips as your face began to heat up.

after a few more rounds, the ride was about to close. no surprise, soda was the last one to get on before the ferris wheel closed. "hey doll." he greeted with a grin.

"yes?" you replied cocking my head to the side.

"would you, uh, like to ride one last time with me?" he frowned lightly, expecting you to decline his offer.

"sure soda. i'd love to." you smiled at him before following him onto the ride. a small smile was placed on his face as he laced his hand with yours.

"why did you ride the wheel constantly this whole day?" you asked him.

he blushed slightly and looked down at his lap. "i wanted to talk to you." he mumbled.

"aw soda, that's so sweet." you grinned. once your seat made it to the top, he looked over at you with nervous eyes. you laughed lightly and shook your head. "you're adorable." you mumbled as you both leaned in. his lips soon pressed against yours. you placed both hands on the side of his face as he gripped your waist gently.

"i really like you. i have for a few months." he told you genuinely.

"don't worry. i like you too Sodapop." you grinned and pecked his cheek.
