your hands flew up to cover your mouth as you realized how pale he was.

"we have to get him to the hospital." the older guy said as he picked up soda. "two-bit go get your car!"

"forget that!" you cried. they all looked at you as you ran over to a random truck and boosted it. "get in!" you said as you hopped in the driver's seat. they all got in and immediately you were speeding down the road towards the hospital.

"c'mon, c'mon." you mumbled impatiently as a car stopped short in front of you.

"just ram it, he's dying!" steve pleaded. you grunted before stomping on the gas pedal and ramming the mustang. you pulled up in front of the hospital and skidded to a halt before you could hit a pole.

in the distance, you heard sirens. "god dammit, that's for me." all the boys looked at you worriedly, with the exception of dallas.

"what're you doing!?" you yelled. "he's dying! i'll take the heat for it, just get in there!" they all nodded and ran inside.

"put your hands up." you heard a deep voice say from behind me.

you walked out of the cooler and immediately headed to your old house. your parents car was in the driveway and the vines hanging from your window were still there.

you sighed, but then you realized why you were put in the cooler in the first place. you started making your way towards the curtis' household. you needed to know if sodapop was okay.

when you got there you knocked on the door, hoping to god soda was fine. the next thing you know, the older guy opened the front door and his jaw dropped.

"aye, guys, you wanna come see this?" he asked. all the guys walked over and stared at you with wide eyes. right next to him was sodapop, fine and dandy.

"hey y'all!" you giggled. "i'm outta the cooler."

"it's nice to see ya again, girly." the one with rusty colored hair smiled.

"ditto. i just wanted to see if soda was peachy." you joked. soda grinned at you.

"yeah i'm fine, thanks by the way."

"no problem." you said. "well i should be on my way, i don't want to interrupt your gang time." you informed as you turned on my heel.

"wait!" soda called. "why don't you hang around a bit? it'd be nice to have a girl around that would go in the cooler to save a life."

all of them agreed accept for dallas who just nodded slightly. "alright!" you smiled. "the name's y/n."

~~~~
you walked into the curtis' household and plopped down on the couch next to soda who appeared to be the only one here.
"hey, cutes. where's the gang?" you asked.
"they went out, i just didn't feel like going." he replied. you nodded before starting a conversation, that ended in the two of you having a movie marathon.
"hey y/n?" sodapop asked you.
"what's up?" you asked curiously. he took a deep breath before leaning over and pressing his lips to yours.
you were shocked at first but soon your eyes fluttered closed and you kissed back. you tangled one of your hands in his hair and the other you rested on the side of his neck. he laid his hands on your waist line and tilted his head slightly.
"you wanna be my girl?" he mumbled as we broke apart.
you rested your forehead against his and looked into his blue eyes. "i have ever since i laid eyes on you." you whispered before reconnecting your lips.
