a frown was plastered across your face as tears welled up in your eyes. you were curled up in a ball on your small bed with bloodshot eyes and deep sorrow thoughts. you couldn't believe your boyfriend of four years would do such a thing to you. you broke it off almost immediately since he didn't seem to care at all when he had been caught cheating.

you thought he was different and that he would never do such a thing to you..... but apparently you had been mistaken. suddenly, a soft knock came from the door and you glanced at the thin piece of wood quickly. somehow, you already knew who it was going to be. you closed your eyes, mumbling a soft 'come in', wishing the pain would go away already.

dallas opened the door quietly and closed it after him. he slowly trudged over to you and slipped under the covers with you. you turned your head slightly.

"why'd he do that?" you whispered, your voice cracking. dallas sighed as closed his eyes for brief moment before opening them once again. His brown eyes stare softly into your bloodshot orbs with sadness.

"some boys just don't know how to treat women." he muttered whilst shaking his head. he scoots closer to you and buries his face in your neck gingerly.

"are you like those some guys?" you inquire.

dallas seemed to shrug but it was hard to tell if he did or not. "that's something for a girl to decide. not me." he replied in a whisper. you nod and close your eyes as sleep slowly starts to take over you.

"i wouldn't be like those guys if i were with you though, that's for sure." were the last things you heard before sleep fully consumed you.
