your friend and you snuck into the drive-in the way greasers do - through a hole in the fence - before walking over to two seats three rows from the back. you hugged your jacket closer to your body since you only had a thin tee-shirt on under it. tonight was colder then you expected so you didn't exactly dress for the occasion.

about a half hour into the movie, three boys sat behind you and your friend. you groaned quietly, only because one of them you had noticed as the infamous dally winston.

"hey babe." he suddenly whispered in your ear causing a shiver to run down your spine.

"do you mind?" you whispered back while sighing.

he laughed at this. "c'mon babe, what's your name?" he asked as a smirk grew across his face.

"y/n." you gritted out. "now will you leave me alone?"

"feisty, i like that. let me buy ya something." he offered. now you may want him to leave you alone, but who passed up the offer of a free coke?

as you went to grab money to give him, he stopped you. "i'll pay." he told you. you frowned but nodded. he got up and walked away. you then turned to his friends when he was out of sight.

"what's up with him?" you asked the one with greasy brown almost red hair. he had greenish grayish eyes which were a little strange but a nice color in your opinion.

"who, dally?" he asked. you nodded. "he's been attracted to you for the longest time. you should give him a chance, he's actually a really nice guy when ya get to know 'em."

your eyes widened as he said that but you quickly wrapped up the conversation when you saw Dallas walking back. so you gave him a chance and not long after, you and him had become good friends.

one day, you were walking to the curtis residence when it just clicked into your mind. you liked dally.

you walked into the curtis' house, slamming the door after yourself. all the guys were in the living room - either sprawled out of the couch floor, arm chair, or in sodapop's case, the coffee table. you plopped down next to dally on the couch.

"hey dal, can i talk to you for a minute?" you asked pointing to the front door.

"oh damn, he gettin' laid!" two-bit yelled sticking out his tongue suggestively.

"shut your trap, two!" you barked before dal and you walked outside.

"what's up, doll?" he asked, lighting up a cigarette. you took a deep breath before placing your hands on his chest and standing up on your toes. you pressed your lips to his in a passionate kiss. when you pulled away he smirked at you.

"it's about damn time." he smirked before pulling you in for another kiss.
