you could feel everything in that moment. you could feel the tears sting your eyes, you could feel the glass hit your ankle from the beer bottle you dropped, but most of all:

you could feel your heart shattering. you felt horrible, almost like the effect from the broken pieces of your heart were tearing apart your insides.

why were you feeling like this? because your boyfriend of two years, dallas winston, was making out with a blonde broad in his room at buck's thinking you wouldn't find out.

when in reality, that was the first place you looked when you couldn't find him anywhere. as soon as the sound of glass shattering erupted in the room, dal whipped his head up and looked you dead in your puffy eyes.

thankfully, your hair was able to shield your face as you ran out of buck's as fast as you could. as you ran, the only thing you could hear was dally calling after you.

finally you ran into the curtis hotel to find the whole gang sitting around. they all looked at you as you collapsed on the floor sobbing.

sodapop was the first one next to you since he was the closest but soon two was right by his side.

"y/n, what's wrong?" two asked you worriedly.

"i caught dallas making out with a blonde broad." you sobbed. two-bit growled and immediately left while soda pulled you into a hug and stroked your hair.

after what seemed like hours of soda holding you, two-bit walked in the door with a beaten dal thrown over his shoulder.

"i was gonna beat him myself, but someone beat me to it." he grumbled throwing dally down on the couch. you turned your head away from dally not even wanting to look at him right now.

dallas had been trying everything he could to get you back, but you just couldn't forgive him.

today wasn't any different. he came in the door like usual, handed you a bouquet of roses and then sat next to johnny. at lunch when you went to the dairy queen he bought you your meal and helped you carry it back out to darry's truck.

finally today you had enough. when you all walked back into the curtis' household, you turned around and pressed your lips to dally's roughly.

i mean people should get second chances right?
