going to the movies with pony was a weekly thing. he loved movies and so did you. so when johnny had invited you to join him, dally, and pony to the drive in that night you said yes without any hesitation. now there the three of you were sneaking under the fence into the movies and starting over to the chairs.

pony wasn't usually one for pda but he kept his arm wrapped around your shoulders keeping you far from the drunk socs that roamed the parking lot. when you sat down you waited till the movie began with johnny on one side of you and pony and dally on the other.

within minutes two soc girls you know from school who go by the names cherry and marsha sat in front of you.

"pretty girls huh?" dal whispered to the boys before trying to flirt up cherry. he was making comments about her and some made you scrunch up your nose as you tried to only focus on the movie.

"he don't know when to stop." johnny mumbled under his breath and shook his head fiddling with his jacket sleeves. pony had goosebumps up and down his arms as he hugged you closer to his side.

"it sure is cold out here ain't it?" he muttered, shivering a bit. you rolled your eyes and wrapped an arm around his waist cuddling into him to try and keep him warm.

within minutes dallas somehow managed to get coke splashed all over him and he made a scene storming out of there when he was rejected for the final time. "ah asshole." you shook your head after him.

"you two gonna start in on us now too?" cherry barked turning around to johnny and pony, not even acknowledging your presence. it started a few words being exchanged before marsha smiled at them both.

"why dont you two come sit up here and protect us?" she smiled sweetly. the second you felt Pony's grip loosen and start to come off your shoulders you rolled your eyes and stood up.

"of course." you muttered under your breath before storming off. you saw two on the way but he didn't notice you just like you didn't notice pony running after you and calling your name. by the time you got to the end of the parking lot pony was next to you gripping your wrist.

"you can't walk home by yourself. it's dangerous." he stated pleading you with his eyes not to go.

"you know what else is dangerous? ditching your girlfriend to go sit with some pretty soc girls." you growled yanking your wrist out of his hold.

"baby please, i wasn't gonna ditch you. i was gonna bring you with me. i knew johnny wanted to and he wouldn't by himself and that's why." he begged staring into your eyes.

you sighed before turning away. "i'm just gonna go home and go to bed."

"well then i'm comin. i'd rather protect you then them anyway." he declared kissing your temple and walking next to you.
