Sam didn't text me, call me, IM me, or anything the whole three day weekend. I tried everything but he ignored me. I got plenty of offers from friends to go out but I lied and said I was sick. I was in a bad mood the whole three days- all because of Sam Evans.
Haley walked into my room late Sunday night. "Why haven't you done anything this weekend?"
"I'm sick." I lied and fake coughed.
"Quit the shit, sis." Haley put her hands on her hips. "I know what's going on. It's Sam, huh?"
I nodded.
"What happened?" Haley asked, sitting on my bed.
"I don't want to talk about it." I replied.
Haley rolled her eyes. "Then I guess I can't help you." She stormed out of my room.
Damn pregnancy hormones. I thought. They had made Haley so nice one moment and so bitter the next moment.
As I laid in my bed, trying to fall asleep, a light bulb went off.
Sam's telling me who he likes tomorrow! I smiled to myself as I thought about it.
But wait, I remembered something, he's mad at me.
I sighed to myself.
He never breaks a promise, though! I smiled once again.
Tomorrow was either going to be great or be terrible. I couldn't wait!
