Phil: how're you, Daniel
Dan: fine. Back to talking to customers after my one-day break.
Dan: seriously I can't wait for Labor Day
Dan: just another week away...
Phil: the day where practically everybody's off, except some restaurants and shops.
Phil: and I don't take advantage of it at all because I have no friends
Dan: me before I got a job ^
Dan: but you'd think that over the summer we'd hang out with our highschool buddies while they're home, but no. They've moved on with their lives while we're stuck in time, playing video games.
Dan: my job doesn't exactly count, since I work from home
Phil: yep, basically
Phil: my summer was spent laying around, texting you, and sometimes going out because my mum forced me to
Phil: I actually did a good amount of reading tho
Phil: I read this one book, The Help, who knew America's history was so dark ._.
Dan: isn't that book about slavery or something?
Phil: no, it's about AFTER slavery was abolished, how the colored people were still treated unfairly
Dan: I had the right idea
Phil: not really but ok
Dan: I was close enough!
Phil: 2 totally different generations
Dan: history geek
Phil: oh shut up
Phil: ttyl?
Dan: maybe
