Once she had turned on a few lights in the house, Clarke carefully helped Finn to sit down on top of the toilet, figuring it was the best place for him to sit other than the floor. She had found and collected almost everything she would have needed to clean and close the wound, and once she was ready to begin, she bent in front of him in hope of finding his eyes. "We're going to have to take your shirt off, is that okay?" She asked, knowing that it would've been easier to work without having a shirt to get in the way of everything.

As soon as his eyes met hers, he nodded slowly and began lifting his shirt off, before realizing Clarke was helping him getting rid of it. It felt a little awkward, but at the same time, he couldn't help but smiled very faintly through a wince, not entirely hating the fact that Clarke Griffin had just taken his shirt off.

There it was, the large bite covering his left shoulder, along with his rather muscular chest. The wound was quite deep and similar to Monty's, but Clarke was confident and knew she would've been able to take care of it properly.

She turned on the water from the sink and waited until it would get warm, still quite surprised that electricity functioned here. Once it got warm enough, she placed a washcloth under the stream and waited until it would get completely wet. As soon as it was ready, she twisted it to get rid of the extra water and turned back at Finn. She placed a hand on top of his bare shoulder, working the other one holding the washcloth to his wound. Then, she carefully started to clean the wound from the partially dried blood accumulated all over and around the bite, being careful not to hurt him. She saw him wince quite a few time, but she knew she had to keep going.

Finn remained silence the entire time. In reality, he was observing Clarke. He liked doing that, getting to know every single features of hers. And right now it was the closest they had ever been, so he got to see her face closer, and he enjoyed it more than he should have. It almost made him forget about the throbbing pain coming from his shoulder.

After a while, Clarke rinsed the blood soaked clothe under the water and came back with a new one, this time to soak it in alcohol. Finn had a feeling this was going to be painful, and he would have to stay strong. As soon as the clothe touched the wound, he couldn't help but winced and released a groan out of pain, but the pain slowly faded away when Clarke's other hand moved from his shoulder to his cheek, her fingers tenderly brushing his skin. "You're doing good, Finn." She told him with a small smile as she continued rubbing the alcohol soaked clothe onto his wound.

Everything seemed to be going perfectly fine until Clarke noticed how warm and sweaty Finn's skin was getting, even though he struggled to tell her he was shivering and didn't feel warm at all. But she knew exactly what this meant, and it wasn't good at all. It only meant the infection was running down his veins, and that he would need the antidote soon.

She glanced all around the bathroom in hope of finding what she was looking for; a bath. But there wasn't such a thing in here, and the only other possible option was the shower.

"C-can I p-put my sh-shirt back on, n-now?" Finn asked, his body trembling.

"Come here..." Clarke muttered as she slowly helped him up and led him toward the shower, entering it with him. It was rather tight and two person could hardly fit in there, but she had to stay and check on him. She quickly turned the water on and made sure it wouldn't have been too cold, nor too warm. She knew what to do, because whenever she would have a fever when she was a kid, her mother would make her take a lukewarm bath.

Finn released a loud groan when the water entered in contact with his wound; it felt like sharp knives running down his skin, piercing his bones. Tears threatened to spill down his cheeks and this time he let them fall, not bothering if Clarke would notice them or not. After all, they were in a shower, and she probably wouldn't have been able to distinguish the tears from the drops of water. When the pain became almost too much to bear, he slowly deposited his head on top of the blonde's shoulder, his thoughts soon falling off track.
