Gunshots and growls were the only things Clarke and Finn could hear as they made their way up to the car parked in the alley. Even though the windows of the vehicle were closed, the blonde could still hear the loud rock music playing through the speakers, which indicated it would've been much worse once they would have gotten in the car.

As she was the one holding the gun, she made sure Finn would've been the first to get in, knowing he was in worst conditions that her. As soon as he got in by the backseat' door, she hurried after him and avoided the bite of a dog; several seconds later and it would've dig its sharp teeth in Clarke's flesh. Her eyes were wide opened as she looked back to the dog which was basically about to bounce on her, but her feet repulsed it away just in time. She groaned loudly as she pushed it out of the vehicle and slammed the door shut as hard as she could, leaving her completely breathless.

"Clarke, are you alright?!" She heard Finn's worried voice ask through the loud music as he helped her taking a comfortable position on the backseat, holding her arm firmly. As soon as he saw her nod, he glanced to the driver's seat, where Murphy sat. "Where are we going?" He asked, still unsure about if he should trust him or not.

"Anytime," Murphy replied, a smirk almost possessing his voice. He scoffed faintly before driving off the parking, barely even glancing to his rear mirror which would've given him a view on the backseat where Finn and Clarke were.

"Hey!" Finn shouted, anger slowly beginning to fill him. He hated to be ignored, and mostly when it was on purpose. "I asked you a question!"

"Finn," Clarke muttered before gently grabbing the boy's arm in attempt of calming him down. As soon as he glanced next to him to find her face, she waited a short while and then looked at Murphy. "Could you lower the volume?!" She shouted as well, and after shaking his head lightly with a grin, Murphy finally turned down the music. She sighed out of relief when he did so, relieved that he had listened to her.

"We're going wherever blondie's house is," Murphy replied after a while as he glanced at Finn through his rear mirror, his grin then lightly fading away.

"She has a name..." Finn spoke as the other boy was done talking, trying to reduce the glares his eyes were unconsciously sending and the stern look covering his face. "How... How did you know we were here?"

Murphy chuckled at Finn's words, finding interesting how easy it was to piss him off. Then, he pulled over to the side of the road, but let the car in function. "I didn't know the two of you would've been the ones occupying that house when I drove in the alley, but, here's a small hint; it was the only house with power in the entire neighbourhood." He explained, his eyes not leaving the tree where the headlights pointed to.

"Yeah, but why did you appear to be driving exactly in front of my house?" Finn sighed.

"Can't a man just peacefully drive around town wherever the hell he wants to?" Murphy grinned again, mock filling his voice.

"Look, Washington is a very big city. It's just... Odd that you were driving on the same street Finn's house is." Clarke calmly pointed out.

"Wait, are you insinuating I was following you?" Murphy scoffed. "Look, I don't wanna sound rude here, but I've got much more thrilling stuff to do than following Indiana Jones and his little girlfriend into a fucking creepy lab, and then assisting to whatever the hell you two were doing in that house."

Finn squinted his eyes as he stared at the boy, trying to understand what could've been hiding under all of the crap Murphy kept telling them; he wanted to find out the truth. "Avoiding the subject, now, are we?" He asked, the hint of a grin on his lips.
