Tears spilled from his eyes as Finn walked out of the dinning room, feeling his heart in pieces. All of it had been his fault, and now Clarke hated him. She couldn't even look at him without throwing glares, and he didn't think something could have ever gotten close of feeling the same to what he felt when Cassie released her last breath. He had messed everything up, and now he just had to pay the price. He had lost the one person he truly loved; he didn't even know if he could've been hoping for a possibility to get her back.

What they had done... he would've been lying if he would say he didn't enjoy it. On the contrary, the time he had spent with Clarke had been one of the most amazing things to ever happen to him, meeting her being the first one. But he surely wasn't part of these things for her anymore, and it killed him. He hated himself so much, he couldn't bear the guilt.

His hands formed fists as he stopped in the middle of the hallway connecting the living room to the dinning room, feeling a wave of sadness overwhelming his body. He crouched down, shoved his head in his hands and released a sob, for all the things that had been happening the past 36 hours.

Cassie was dead, because of him. But were his parents still alive? What about Jasper? Or his other friends?

He could still feel a slight pain in his shoulder, and whenever he felt it, everything related to the lab came back to his mind. The bright yellow eyes of the dogs, their sharp teeth plunging in his skin. The memories were torturing him as they wouldn't leave his mind, and he didn't know what to do. Usually, Clarke would've been there to tell him everything was going to be okay. But now she wasn't, and he felt succumbed of guilt and pain, more than ever before. That's when a thought came to his mind, one that was going to be hard to get rid of. Did he even deserve to be there?

Her hands rested on each sides of the sink as she stared into the mirror, her eyes red and puffy from crying. She couldn't stop thinking about the past hour, everything she did, everything she regretted. And everything she wished could've happened differently.

She thought of Finn, how his lips moved along hers, and how she had felt her heart overwhelm with love and passion. How quick things had happened, and then thought of the feeling of his warm body against hers. Her eyes immediately watered at the thought, and soon formed tears which rolled down her cheeks. She looked at her own reflection in the mirror and felt ashamed, and thought about how disappointed her mother would be of her right now...

Then, when she have had enough, she wiped her eyes and breathed in deeply, getting mentally ready to face more people. They needed to leave, and she would have to focus on something else than her own problems. The entire world was falling apart, and they needed to try and save it.

As soon as she walked out of the bathroom, her eyes immediately landed on Monty who sat on the floor, his back against the door of the cupboard. He probably had no clue of what was behind that door, which had been the whole point for Clarke to install her secret hideout in a place such as this one.

"Hey..." Clarke said as she stepped a bit closer, attempting to get his attention.

The boy then looked up at her, a light smile showing on his lips. "Hey, Clarke." He paused, frowning as soon as he noticed her red eyes. "Is... is everything alright?"

At the question, her eyes quickly drifted to the floor. "I'm... I'm coping," she replied, forcing a small smile. "Are you still feeling any pain?" She asked, noticing the small red stain that had formed on the shirt Wells had given him earlier. She had put a bandage, but she still expected blood to get through a little.
