Finn had his fingers interlaced with Clarke's, and their eyes wouldn't leave the other's. The cupboard was dived in silence, although it really wasn't an awkward atmosphere. But they both struggled to find a way, and most importantly, the words they wanted to use to express the feelings they experienced for the other.

Now that she knew much more about the origins of Finn's constant behaviours, she felt like they were bonding even more, and she wondered for how long they would get to do that without even talking about it. But she was clueless of the words she would have to use, the way she would tell them, and mostly, if she was the one supposed to start talking about this.

"Shouldn't we..." Finn began and exhaled deeply, "shouldn't we go back with the others?" He shakily asked, remembering the plan they had decided earlier with the group about what they would do next. Of course, he would have wanted to stay in here for a longer time with her, but the world was falling apart around them and they should be out there, trying to find answers and survivors.

Clarke's eyes then trailed down to their intertwined hands, slightly disappointed that their time alone would have to come to an end, when they didn't even get the chance to talk about their current relationship. "Yeah..." she muttered, and just when he was about to stand on his knees in order to get out,, she grabbed his wrist firmly. "Finn, wait."

As soon as their eyes met, she slowly cupped his cheek with her hand, letting her fingers brush his skin tenderly. Then, she wrapped her other arm around his neck and he leaned in closer to her; she could feel his warm breath touching her cheeks. Their foreheads almost met, and he slowly placed his hands around her waist before closing his eyes, enjoying to feel her this close of him. Although they both only wanted to do that, neither of them would close the small two inches distance separating their mouths.

And then slowly, Finn pressed his lips on hers, which sent shivers down their spines. He was in love with Clarke, and that's all that mattered for now.

Clarke eagerly replied to his embrace and moved her lips against his, her eyes closing. She placed both her hands around his cheeks and felt his body slowly push against hers, which resulted in the both of them slowly falling one onto the other across the mattress of pillows covering the floor. Finn's heartbeat quickened as he found himself on top of her; he had never gotten this close with anyone else before. But it didn't stop them to sink into a deeper kiss, his hands soon moving to the upper half of her arms, which he gripped tight.

When their lips separated, he locked his eyes with hers and felt his lips tug apart, their breaths mingling. Clarke cupped his face again and felt a blush washing over her features, but she didn't care. His smile warmed her heart, and she wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else than with Finn, no matter where that would have been.

"I... I guess it would be needless to say, that..." Finn began as he broke their gaze. Then, he slowly got off her in order to lay down on his side next to her. When Clarke imitated him and the both of them were now face to face, he continued. "That I..." he paused again, fearing to say what he really had in mind.

"That you what?" Clarke asked, her brows furrowing slightly. Her eyes then trailed on his injured shoulder and noticed dried blood on his shirt, which indicated she would have to change his bandage soon. Before Finn could even answer something to her question, they heard a loud banging at the door, followed by Wells's voice.

"Clarke, are you in there?" The boy asked from the outside.

With a sigh, Clarke slowly sat up and went to open the cupboard's door. "Yes, what is it?" She replied as she looked up to discover her friend, who stood in front of the door.
