Annabeth stormed her way out of the assembly hall as soon as they were dismissed. Jasmine had convinced Dunmer that they would protect Bryson no matter what and it was best to leave the matter unresolved till after the battle. Annabeth on the other hand was angry she can't believe she didn't see through Bryson from the start and now they had at least 100 assassins on their way to murder them all. "Annabeth stop" called a voice from behind her it was Bryson. "How could you" said Annabeth turning around angrily. Bryson stood frozen she wasn't exactly sure if she was upset or angry but she looked like someone just murdered her cat.
"You know what these people put on the line here they risked everything and now it might all fall apart because of your stupid loyalty to a psychotic murder" yelled Annabeth trying to hold back her tears. "I didn't betray you I meant what I said about wanting to help you I meant everything" said Bryson trying his best. Bryson quite honestly had never felt to horrible he had never seen anyone look so upset with him as she did right now. "Do you expect me to believe that how stupid do you think I am" said Annabeth angrily. Suddenly Bryson had sympathy and realized why she was upset it was that look in her eyes the look of abandonment he had it himself all up until he really met her. "I was a assassin because I felt like I had no belonging but then I had met you and it changed I found a reason for me to change who I used to be a reason a start over knew and that whole reason was you" said Bryson looking right into her eyes now. Annabeth's temper had seemed to have softened now.
"It doesn't even matter any more all we need to know is we got a hundred assassins coming here in 2 days we gotta find whoever betrayed us now" said Allison. Bryson was overwhelmed with relief that she believed him but she was still right they had to find the traitor now.
