Dancing Away With My Heart

Chapter 8

It was Saturday which meant that today Emma , Jenna , and I were hanging out . We decided to meet up at Jenna and Alan's apartment before we left . I woke up at around 11 which meant that I had a couple hours to get ready , I took a quick shower and put on my everyday makeup , and straightened my hair . I found my favorite pair of skinny jeans and slipped them on , I decided to wear my baby blue T- Shirt that said "Troupe." on the front and has my last name across the top of the back . Lastly I put on my favorite converse , grabbed my bag and went downstairs . All of us had gotten so used to each other that we don't even bother knocking on doors anymore , so I just walked into Alan and Jenna's apartment

"Hey" Alan says from the couch

"Hey , Is Jenna ready?"I ask , he turns off the TV and walks over to me

" Oh Please" He says "It takes Jenna an hour to figure out what shirt she wants to wear"

"It took me five minutes" I say

"This is the most clothed I've even see you" He says , In that moment the bedroom door bursts open and Jenna walks out wearing a robe

"Alan , What should I .... Oh wait nevermind , that's perfect" She says then walks back into the bedroom and closes the door behind her .

"Um .. What?" I say looking at Alan

"I guarantee you that she's going to walk out of that room wearing her troupe shirt just like you are" He says

"Great . We can match" I say . The door opened again and sure enough she was wearing her shirt that was just like mine , other than hers saying "Johnson" on the back and mine saying "Cook"

"What did I tell you" Alan says with a smile on his face

"You were right" I say

"What?" Jenna says , Alan and I just laugh

"Nothing" We say in unison

"Hey Dani , Let's take a picture" She says handing Alan her phone so he can take a picture of us

"Okay"I say and hand him mine too .

We take pictures and then post them on Instagram . I caption my picture with the simple caption reading "Troupe ." She captions hers saying
" Troupe Members and Bestfriends . I don't know what I would do without you Dani . ❤" . Her caption made me feel even worse about what I knew Alan was going to have to do soon , but I knew It had to be done .

Emma got to Jenna and Alan's at 1:30 , not long after she arrived we left , We took Emma's car and Jenna sat in the front with her , I thought now would be the time I could ask Alan if he gave anymore thought into telling her so I texted him

Danielle: Have you thought about what happened yesterday ?

Alan: Yeah . I think I'm going to do it sometime next week . I just don't know how to do it .

Danielle: Do you want me to be with you when you do it ?

Alan: No! I have to do this on my own , and plus I don't want her getting upset with you .

Danielle: She's going to be upset anyways . This isn't exactly the type a situation somebody would be happy about .

Alan: I know . You know I never meant to fall in love with you .. But I'm sure glad I did .

Danielle: Your too much . ❤❤❤

Alan: You love me .

Danielle: I have to  go we just got to the mall . 😙

He replied back with kissy faces and hearts , but I didn't  reply I just got out of the car

"You were awful quiet during the ride over " Jenna says "Everything okay?"
