Chapter 34

Jenna woke back up at around 1:00 that afternoon. I took Asher in there to her first.

"Oh my god, He's beautiful" She says and takes him from my arms.

"Meet Asher John Bersten" I say.

"He's perfect" She says.

"He's part of you" I said. She kissed his cheek.

"But, You're his mother" She said. I sat beside her on the bed. Alan walked in with Addison.

"This is little Addison Michelle Bersten" He said and handed her to Jenna. She cried tears of joy.

"I'll be right back" I say. I walked to the next room with the baby in my arms and called Emma.

Emma: Do we have babies?

Danielle: I'm holding my son as we speak.

Emma: SASHA THEY HAVE A BOY!!

Danielle: Why don't you all come down here and meet him and his sister.

Emma: Sister? You got both?

Danielle: I have a son and a daughter.

Emma: We'll be right down.

I hang up the phone and out Asher in his baby bed and sit on the couch next to him. I decided to call my mother and tell her they were here.

Mom: Danielle? Is everything okay?

Danielle: I just wanted to let you know that you have a grandson and granddaughter.

Mom: Really!?

Danielle: Addison Michelle and Asher John Bersten were born at 5:13 and 5:16 this morning.

Mom: Addison and Asher.

Danielle: I'll send you pictures.

Mom: Please do. How's Jenna doing?

Danielle: She's good, She's seen the babies and she's fine.

Mom: Alright, Well send me those photos.

Danielle: I will. I love you momma.

Mom: I love you too, baby.

I hung up the phone and just sat there holding my beautiful son in my arms talking to him. He was still asleep though.

"My beautiful little boy, I am your mommy and you have a beautiful twin sister in the next room with your daddy and your aunt Jenna" We decided to make them call Emma, Jenna and Sasha their aunt and uncles when they got older. "They love you very much and so do I". I kissed his forehead. Alan walked in carrying Addison.

"Can I old my son?" He asks.

"Of course" I say. We switch babies. "Let me take a picture to send to my parents". I snap photos of him with Asher and he takes some of Asher and I. He told me Jenna was getting more sleep.

About an hour later I heard a knock at the door. I went and answered with Addison in my arms.

"Oh! She's precious" Emma exclaims. and takes her from my arms. I went and sit down in a chair.

"Sasha, Take him" Alan says. He hands Asher to Sasha.

"Hey, Big guy, It's uncle Sash" He says.

"They're so perfect" Emma says.

"What are their names?" Sasha asks.

"Addison and Asher" I answer.

"Well, Miss Addison, I'm your aunt Emma, and I can't wait to see you grow up" She says.

"Can we take pictures?" Sasha asked.

"Of course" I say. We all ended up taking pictures with the babies.

"Should we post a video saying that were parents now?" I ask Alan. "Let our fans know?".

"Yeah, Will you all record it?" Alan asks Emma and Sasha.

"I will" Emma says and takes my phone from me and Sasha takes Alan's. I hold Asher and Alan holds Addison. They start recording.

"Hi Everyone, We just wanted to let the world know that we are now parents" I say.

"Yes, We have recently adopted a set of twins and would like you all to meet them" Alan says. "This little princess is Addison Michelle Bersten".

"And, This little guy is Asher John Bersten" I say. "We are so thankful for them and look forward to our lives with them".

They stopped recording and Alan and I both posted the video on instagram. We were all sitting around talking when the doctor came in.

"How are mom and dad doing?" He asked.

"Great" I answered.

"And how are Addison and Asher?".

"They're good too, They've been sleeping a lot" Alan says.

"Are you prepared to take them home?" He asks. 

"Yeah" Alan and I say In unison.

"Good, because Jenna is good to leave now too" He says. "You get to take your babies home".

"Great!" I said.

When we all got settled in back at the house it was just Alan and I sitting in the living room with Addison and Asher. I was feeding Addison and he was feeding Asher.

"You know something babe, It's not just us anymore" He says.

"It doesn't seem real, does it?" I say.

"I'm actually sitting here, feeding my son" He says.

"I know, It's crazy" I said.

"How can you love someone so much that you just met?" He asks trying to burp Asher.

"I don't know, but I do know that I would be crushed without these little ones" I say.

"Me too" He says.

"Well, Let's get them to bed" He says and stands up. We walk up the steps. Asher was already asleep so Alan put him in his crib. And I sat in the rocking chair rocking Addison. Alan went to sleep. Addison looked up at me with wide eyes. She looked just like Jenna.

"You've had a big day haven't you, You met Emma and Sasha and Jenna, You got to come home, And now you're going to sleep in your own bed tonight" I say. "I can't promise to you that I will be the perfect parent, but I just want you and your brother to know that I'm going to love you unconditionally and so is your daddy. There is a whole lot of love in this household and this is only the beginning".

She was out like a light, but I didn't want to move. I sat in the rocking chair with my beautiful daughter in my arms. I was so excited to see where life took us and couldn't wait to see what each day had in store for us.
