Chapter 31

A month had passed. Everyone was fine again and everything was back to normal. We had been hanging out at Mine and Alan's house every night since Alan and I made up and everything was perfect again.

Today, Jenna and I were hanging out while Alan and Sasha were working and Emma, Brittany, and Hayley were secretly planning a baby shower for Jenna. I just lied and said she was working out with the boys.

"I wish Emma didn't have to workout today" Jenna says. We decided to get in the hot tub.

"Well, It's the middle of the season so they have too" I say.

"I'm really glad you got Yasmin to come out here and take your place" She says. A few weeks before the season started I asked Yasmin if she would come in and be the new troupe member. She grew up dancing with me and was trained in ballroom and Latin dancing. Her partner was Val so she was super excited about that. She also couldn't believe she actually got verified on instagram because now she was a pro too.

"She seems to like it" I say.

"You mean she seems to like Val" She says.

"That too" I say. We both laugh.

"So, How are you doing since you lot the baby?" She asks.

"It's been hard, but, we're getting through it" I answer.

"Yeah, Alan and I talked about it a couple days ago" She says.

"You didn't kiss him again, did you?" I joked.

"No, No" She says. I smiled.

"Kidding" I say.

"There's...Something I want to ask you" She says.

"What?" I ask swirling my hands around in the water.

"I'm going to need help raising the babies" She says and puts her hand on top of her stomach.

"Well, Of course I'm going to help you" I say.

"I appreciate that, but, I want these kids to grow up with a family, A mother and father. A good home." She says.

"What are you saying?" I ask.

"I-I want you to adopt the twins" She says.

"W-What?" I ask.

"I want you to adopt them so they can be your children"..

"N-No, They aren't mine" I say.

"Yes, You can't have kids of your own, but I can, These two kids might be the closest that you and Alan get to having a family" She says.

"I-I can't take these kids from you" I say and start to stand out of the hot tub. Jenna gets out after me.

"I want you too" She says. "I want them to have a family, a good family and I can't give them that".

"Jenna-"

"Please, I will always be around and helping with them, you will just be there mother" She says.

"I don't know" I said.

"Please, I want what's best for them and you being there mother would be what's best for them" She says. I knew what she was saying was true, I knew they needed a good life and a mother and a father to grow up around.

"Fine" I say. "I'll...adopt them" I say.

"Thank You!" She says and pulls me into a hug. "Let's go sing the papers".

We walked into the kitchen and she pulled a few forms out of her bag. I singed them all. Singing those papers legal made the twins in Jenna's stomach my children. I couldn't believe that.

"This means that as soon as they come out, they will be yours" She says.

"I know" I say.

"You will be there mother, not me" She says.

"I know" I say.

"Thank you for doing this" She says before leaving.

It was late. Alan and I were lying in bed talking.

"I can't believe that I'm adopting her kids" I say.

"It might be for the best" He says.

"How?"

"The children need a good family, A family that will take care of them and love them unconditionally" He says.

"We have a lot of love to give away" I say.

"Yes, We do, That's exactly what we will be giving to these children" He says."Jenna would be an amazing mother, but they need us".

"Jenna is still going to be a major part of their lives" I say.

"Of course she will, You will just be there mother now" He says.

"How do you do that?"

"What?"

"Make me feel like everything I do is right even when it could be wrong" I answer.

"Because to me you can't do anything wrong, You are perfect" He says and kisses my cheek.

"I love you" I say. "And, I'm going to love the twins".

"I know you will, because you are perfect" He says. Soon enough I fall asleep and dream about mine and alan'd future as parents. I thought it was weird that they were actually Jenna's, but, I couldn't wait to be their mother.
