Chapter 11

***********Alan's POV*********

I hadn't heard from Dani in hours , I sat in her apartment waiting for her to get there but she never showed up. I scrolled through my twitter feed looking at all the comments about the kiss tonight , some people were nice and others were mean . I was scrolling through when I saw a tweet from Jenna . I was expecting it to be bad or rude but it wasn't it simply read "It  Just Happened."  I knew what she was referring to but she other just guessed .

Hours passed and it was now 1:30 in the morning , I had almost fallen asleep when I heard my phone ring . It was Emma .

Alan: Em-

Emma: Alan , Can you get to the hospital now ? It's an Emergency

Alan: Y - Yeah , Be there in Five.

I hang up the phone and rush out of the apartment , I speed out of the parking lot and on to the freeway . I arrived at the hospital within 10 minutes and ran to the front desk to a lady behind a computer

"Danielle Cook . Where is she?"I ask frantically

"She is ... In Surgery" She says calmly

"SURGERY?!" I exclaimed "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?"

"I'm sorry sir , I don't know . I can keep you posted but for now you'll have to wait in the waiting room" She says and points to a door . I walk over and enter the room . I see Emma and Sasha sitting in two chairs against a wall

"Emma!" I say and pull her into a hug , tears rolled down her cheeks "What happened"

"She - She " Emma couldn't get the words out , I sat down in front of her and Sasha and tried to get her to call down but she couldn't

"She had a head on collision with another car" I look over and become completely shocked

"Jenna? Why are you here" I ask

"That's not important , Just worry about Dani right now" She says . I couldn't tell if she was there to see if Dani was okay or if she was secretly hoping that the crash killed her , I didn't really want to know

"Her head went through the windshield , Doctors say she had a gash behind her ear that was about twelve inches long and a large  piece of glass was lodged into a muscle in her neck , they don't know if it hit a main artery or not though" Sasha explained

"Oh My God" I say and put my head into my hands

"Alan ... She could -" I cut Sasha off

"No! No ! She going to make it" I say "She's my one and I'm her only , She's going to make it" I say then a doctor enters

"I assume you all are here for Danielle Cook" He says

"Dani" I say "We're here for Dani" I say

"Are you her..." I could tell he didn't know what to call me

"He's her Boyfriend" Jenna speaks up . Shocking.

"Okay .. Well thankfully the glass  did not hit her artery , however , she lost a lot of blood and had to get 32 stitches in her neck because of the gash" He explains "She was very lucky , this could have been incredibly worse"

"Can we see her?"Emma asks

"When she gets back to her room . Right now she's in Post-op getting the gash stitched , I'll let you know when she is back in her room" He says

"Will - Will she be awake?"Jenna asks , She seemed genuinely concerned about Dani

"Hard to say , She was very stressed and her heart rate was through the roof when she got here , She needs rest" He says and starts to walk out if the room then tunes back around "Do any of you know why she's been so stressed or why her heart rate was up?"
