Chapter 15

A few weeks had passed since Alan and I had got engaged. It was November 16th, Alan and I had set our wedding date for February 16th, Which meant we had a exactly 2 months to plan everything from the dress and tux down to the cake.

Today we were going to see our wedding Planner, Laura Lloyd, She was a famous wedding planner in California and did weddings for almost every celebrity.

We arrived at her office st around 12:00 and went in to meet her.

"Hey Guys, How's it going?" She asks hugging both of us . We sat down across from her.

"Were Good" I say

"And excited" Alan adds

"Okay, So...What date have you picked?" She asks first and grabs a notepad.

"February 16th" I answer

"Wow, Okay, I can do that" She says "Now, Have you gotten a venue booked?"

"Well, We were thinking about a small venue, just for friends and family" Alan says

"I'd like to have it at my church" I say

"Where is the church?" She asks

"In my hometown, Back in Kentucky" I answer

"Kentucky?" She asks

"Growing up, I always told my parents I was going to have my wedding at our church and I'm sticking with that" I say

"Okay, Perfect" She says scribbling on the notepad

"Basically, The only things we have left to do are get the tuxes and dresses, and the cake and caterer" Alan says

"Have you got engagement pictures done yet?" She asks

"No, We're getting them done when we get finished here" Alan says "We can come in maybe Wednesday and pick one out to use"

"Yes, We can do that" She says "Now, One of the most important things in a wedding is the Bridesmaid's and Maid of Honor and the Groomsmen and Best Man, Have you figured out who those people will be for your weeding?"

"We haven't asked them yet, but we know who they will be" I answer

"Okay, Bridesmaids?" She asks

"Emma Slater, Elena Bersten, Melani Bersten, and Yasmin Garcia" I answered , Yasmin was my bestfriend from back home.

"Maid Of Honor?" She asks

"Jenna Johnson" I answered

"Perfect, Okay, Alan who are your groomsmen?"

"Sasha Farber, Keo Motsepe, Henry Byalikov, and Valentin Chmerkovskiy" He answered

"Best Man?"

"Gene Bersten" He answered

"Okay, That's all I need today" She says "See you Wednesday".

Alan and I went back home to get dressed for our engagement pictures.

We decided to color coordinate our clothes for the pictures. I had on black leggings and a white tank top with a little purple sweater over it and white converse. Alan wore black jeans and a purple shirt that matched my sweater and white converse that matched mine.

We decided to get them done at a big national park about an hour away from Los Angeles.

Our photographer, Amy Taylor, took pictures of us just standing together at first and then handed a some items to use that had stuff about marriage on them. She took one where he held a board that said "she stole my heart" and I held one that said "and im keeping it" while looking into each others eyes. And another one where he stood behind me with his arms wrapped around me and kissing my cheek and I help a sign that said "im marrying him" with an arrow pointing at Alan . The last one we took and the one we decided to use was one where we had our back turned to the camera and each of us were holding and end of a tiny rope and in the middle of the rope it said "2-16-17", our wedding date, She also wrote in our names "Danielle and Alan" in script on it too. We wrote out who we wanted to mail them all to and she said she could do it for us to take some of the pressure off of Alan and I.
