Chapter 29

"Stop!" Jenna shouts pushing Alan off her. "What the fuck are you doing?"

"I'd like to know that myself" I say. They both turn towards me. I was in tears again.

"Dani.." Jenna says

"Don't! Just...Dont!" I shout and run past them.

I grabbed my car keys and ran out the front door. I drove out of the driveway and went to the closest persons house I knew of. Brittany. When I got to her house I knocked on her door, A few minutes later she opened it.

"Dani? What's wrong?" She asked rubbing her eyes. It was past midnight so I knew I probably woke her and Hayley up. They lived together.

"I lost the baby" I say.

"Oh god, Come here" She says and pulls me into a hug. "Sit down and I'll go wake Hayley up". I sat down and a few minutes later Hayley came rushing down the steps and hugged me.

"What happened?" Brittany asked sitting on my right side. Hayley sat on my left.

"I have a blood clothing thing that doesn't allow me to carry children to term, so basically I can't have children" I explained.

"Oh God, How is Alan handling it?" Brittany asked.

"By kissing other girls" I answer.

"WHAT?!" They both exclaim.

"Who did he kiss?" Brittany asks.

"Jenna" I answer.

"How do you know?" Hayley asked.

"Because I watched them do it" I answered. The moment played back in my head.

"Oh My God" Hayley exclaims. Suddenly, My phone rang. Hayley answered and put it in speaker. It was Alan.

Hayley: What?

Alan: Let me talk to her.

Hayley: No.

Alan: Hayley, She's my wife.

Hayley: Exactly, So you shouldn't be kissing other people. Especially Jenna.

Alan: It just happened!

Hayley: A kiss doesn't just happen! A kiss is something someone wants.

Alan: I didn't want it!

Hayley: Then why the fuck did you do it?

Alan: I-I was hurting.

Hayley: That doesn't mean you get to hop on another girl.

Alan: I wasn't "hopping" on anything.

Hayley: Danielle was hurting too. And you just made it worse. And plus, Jenna is certainly the last person you should be kissing.

Alan: I'm Sorry!

Hayley: Good luck proving that to Dani.

Before Alan could respond, Hayley hung up the phone.

"Are you okay?" Hayley asks me.

"I should have known he still loved her" I say shaking my head. My phone started ringing again. This time it was Jenna. Hayley went to pick it up but, I stopped her. I wanted to talk to Jenna myself. I actually wasn't that angry with her. I put it on speaker.

Danielle: Hello?

Jenna: I'm So Sorry!

Danielle: I-

Jenna: I swear to god I had no idea he was going to do that, I-I pushed him away.

Danielle: I-

Jenna: I swear I would never do anything to break you two up and I'm so, so, so sorry about that stupid kiss.

Danielle: Can I get a word in?

Jenna: Y-Yeah.

Danielle: I know you pushed him off.

Jenna: I didn't know you were awake.

Danielle: I know, but, you still kissed him.

Jenna: Well...

Danielle: Well what?

Jenna: I..Nevermind.

Danielle: Do you still love him?

Jenna: I-He-Of course, but I don't want him

Danielle: I'm glad you pushed him off.

Jenna: Do you forgive me?

Danielle: You still kissed him.

I hang up before she can say anything back to me. I slam the phone down on the coffee table in front of me.

"Who are you mad at?" Brittany asked.

"Alan, He kissed her" I say.

"Did Jenna kiss back?" Hayley asks.

"She didn't pull away at first, but then she pushed him off" I answered again.

"So, Obviously she didn't like it" Brittany says.

"I-I just don't know how Alan could do this to me" I say.

"Why don't you get down rest" Hayley says. "Go sleep in my room and I'll take the couch".

"Thanks" I say.

That morning I woke up at 11:00. Brittany and Hayley were gone so I texted Brittany and told her I was going home. When I pulled in the driveway I saw Alan's car. I knew he would be home and would want to talk. I walked inside and saw him in the kitchen. I tried to sneak upstairs so we wouldn't have to see each other but he saw me.

"Dani, Can we please talk?" He asks.

"Fine" I say.

"You know I didn't want that to happen" He says. "I don't even know why I did it".

"You kissed her, You kissed her right in front of me on the day we found out that we can't have children" I say.

"I know" He looks down at the ground.

"W-Was it because you can have kids with her and not me?" I ask.

"What? No!" He exclaims.

"Was it because she can give you a family and I can't, I mean she's already having your children" I yell.

"I'm sorry! Im not perfect and I make mistakes! I'm human!" He yells.

"Kissing my best friend is not a mistake!" I yell back.

"Fine, Fine, I'm sorry, God" He says. "I mean, What the hell do you want from me, dani?".

"I-I...I want a divorce".
