Dancing Away With My Heart

Chapter 14

*****Monday Morning*****

It was finally Monday and I was finally back home, Tonight was the last show until March, minus the one tomorrow night to crown the winner of this season.

I walked into the studio and saw Alan doing practice like he always did .

"Hey You" I said walking in and putting my stuff on the steps like usual

"My Girl" He says and pulls me into a hug " I saw you this morning and yet I still missed you" I had went to the doctor earlier so he could clear me for the show and to check on my neck.

"The doctors said I could only practice for an hour without my neck brace and I had to take a 20 minute break every hour and keep the brace on during that time" I said

"Okay , We can rehearse now and then at 11:00 take a break. Okay?" He asked

"Sounds good" I say " We have a contemporary routine right?" I asked

"Yeah, We're dancing to 'Baby I'm Yours' by the Arctic Monkeys" He answered

"Well...Like the song says...Baby I'm Yours" I say and warp my arms around his waist and look up at him

"You can't do that" He says

"What?"

"You can't make me want to grab you and make out with you all the time " He says "Well not in rehearsals"

"But...Maybe...That's what I want" I say in between me kissing his cheeks

"Only if that's what you want" He says

"I want it" I say. He doesn't say anything back to me , He just rams his lips into mine and doesn't stop kissing me. That is until we were interrupted.

"Oh God, I'm Sorry" He pulls away quick and I spin around. Jenna was standing there. " I should have knocked"

"No, No...It's okay" I say walking over to her, Alan walks to his bag and gets out his towel to wipe the sweat off of him.

"I just came to see if maybe...You were up for a trio?" She says

"A trio?" I ask

"With Keo and I. It's a Jive but it doesn't have any lifts or anything" She explains

"I'll do it, but, the doctor said I could only go an hour at a time without keeping my neck brace on so rehearsing might be a little difficult" I said

"It's okay, When you and Alan are done just come up and to Keo and I , We can teach you easily" She says

"Okay, I'll text you and let you know when we're done here" I say

"Okay" She says " And again... I'm really sorry I interrupted you guys"

"It's okay" I say

"I guess I'll have to get used to it" She says and walked out. What was that comment supposed to mean?

After Alan and I rehearsed I went upstairs to Jenna and Keo while Alan went to the makeup trailer. I walked in and saw them rehearsing.

"Oh good , Dani's Here" Keo said

"I've never Really been in a trio, It seemed fun" I say

"It's a great routine, I'll help you out" He says and gives me the steps to do.

After rehearsing with them I went to get ready for the first bumper and go find Alan. He was up in the Redroom waiting to go down to the stage for the opening number, I wasn't in the opening bc it was really quick and had flips and stuff in it that I wasn't cleared to do yet but everyone else was in it.
