Chapter 35

I woke up the next day and instantly went into Addison and Asher's bedroom. They were both sleeping soundly. I walked downstairs with both of them in my arms and put them in their swings. Alan was standing on the back patio. I walked out to see him.

"Hey" I say. "What are you doing out here?"

"Were having a party tonight" He said.

"What?"

"A chapter in our lives just ended and now a new one is beginning and I think we should celebrate this new chapter with the people we love" He said turning to face me. "Were having a party tonight".

"O-Okay" I say. We heard the front door to the house open up. When I walked back inside Jenna was on the couch with Addison and Asher both in her arms.

"Morning, Momma" She says.

"Goodmorning, Auntie" I say and sit in the chair beside the couch.

"My bump is gone, It comepltelyy vanished" She said and pulled up her shirt to show me her once again smooth and flat stomach.

"That's because the things that made that bump are in your lap now" I say.

"They're beautiful" She says.

"Asher is already like his father" I said.

"How so?"

"He slept like a rock all night" I answered.

"And Addison?"

"She was okay, but she woke up a few times" I say.

"I saw the video you posted about them" She says. "Everyone is freaking out".

"I know" I said. "Emma and Sasha posted pictures with them too".

"Maybe I should post one" She says.

"Give me your phone and I'll take one of you all" I say. She hands me her phone and I take a few pictures. Both babies were up and wide awake so the picture looked good. She put then back in their swings. They went right to sleep. A few minutes later my phone beeped with a instagram notification from Jenna. She posted the picture and captioned it saying: "Auntie J loves these two perfect Bersten Babies. @alanbersten and @daniellebersten are going to be the perfect parents! love you guys!". I commented back saying "Love You Auntie J". She was sitting right next to me. I don't know why I didn't just say it to her.

"I hope they never grow up" She says.

"Yeah, Me too, But I don't think we can do anything to stop that" I say.

"We can't" She says. Alan walks in.

"Okay, I called Brittany, Hayley, Lindsay, Witney, Sharna, Peta, Maks, Val, and Yasmin to come to the party. They're going to be here at 5:00" He says. "I called Sasha and asked if he could go pick up some burgers and stuff for us so that's what he's doing and Emma should be over here in a minute to help you girls get things set up".

"Set up?" Jenna questions.

"Babe, Nothing needs to be set up" I said.

"Then, Go upstairs with the babies and when the first guests get here I'll let you know" He says. "I don't want any of you girls to do any work".

"Okay" Jenna and I say in unison.

We go upstairs and sit in the babies room on the floor with them in our arms. Emma walks up a few minutes later.

"There they are, The cutest people in the world" She says.

"Thank You" Jenna and I Say in unison. We were obviously joking.
