Dancing Away With My Heart

Chapter 19

I was supposed to take everyone to the riding stables yesterdsy, but, it was raining so we couldn't go, instead we stayed inside all day and did stuff that my parents and I used to do when I was younger. But, Today was a new day, It was Tuesday and completely dry so I took them horseback riding early this morning. Everyone thought it was so much fun and wished we couldn't stay all day, but, I had something planned for tonight that I had to get everyone prepared for.

"Okay, So, Where are we going?" Alan asks as I make them all sit down on the couch in the living room.

"We're going to have some fun, but, first we have to go shopping" I say. That perked Jenna and Emma up.

"For what?" Sasha asked

"Well, I don't suppose and you bought any clothes like this" I say holding up a plaid shirt, boots, and a cowboy hat.

"I know I don't, But, Where can I get some?" Jenna asks

"There's a shop in town" I say

"Well what are we waring for?" Emma asks

"Yeah, Babe, Let's go" Alan says, He seemed pretty excited too.

We pull into the parking lot of the clothing store and go inside.

"The men's sections is over there" I point to the right side of the store.

"Where do you want us to meet you when we're done?" Alan asks

"You can come find us if you want" I say

"Will do" He says with a smile and kisses me before he and Sasha walk off. Emma, Jenna and I go over to the women's section. We each picked out a plaid shirt we liked. Emma's was Light Blue , Jenna's was purple and mine was green. And we all picked the same black cowboy boots.

"I bet Sasha picked Blue" Emma says as we stand waiting for the boys by the front counter.

"So did Alan" Jenna adds

"No, No, Alan picked green" I say

"Blue is his favorite color" Jenna argues

"I know" I say. I spot Alan and Sasha, Sasha's shirt was Blue, and just like I said, Alan's was green.

"He picked green?" Jenna asks finally spotting them waking towards us.

"He knows it's my favorite Color" I say smiling.

It was not 9:30 at night. The place I was planning on taking them opened at ten. Everyone had gotten ready in their new clothes and my mom.wanted to take pictures of us all. She took one of Alan and I, Then one of Emma,Jenna, and I, One of Emma and Sasha, Then one of all of us together. I posted the one of Alan and I on instagram and captioned it with "Cowboy Take Me Away" . It was a line from one of my favorite songs. He posted the same one and captioned it saying "You are my happy place". Jenna, Emma, and I all three posted the one of the three of us together and said "Partners In Crime" .

At 10:00 we arrived to where I was taking them. It was called "Mammoth Jamboree" . It was a little place you could go for dancing and music. We got a table in a corner and sat down.

"This is amazing" Emma says "I've never been to a place like this"

"This really is amazing, Dani, This who week has been amazing" Jenna says

"Well I wanted you all to have a taste of what I grew up doing with my family, because...now you guys are my family" I say. Alan kisses my cheek.

"This is like the calm before the storm" Alan says "The next two days are going to be pretty hectic"

"Yeah Man, But, In the end your gonna have a true prize" Sasha says smiling at me.

"I sure am a lucky guy" Alan says again and this time everyone smiles. Suddenly, I hear a familiar tune on the radio.

"Babe, We have to dance" I say grabbing Alan's hand and standing up.

"Beat Of The Music, Our Song" He says and leads me out to the dance floor. He twirls me around in circles just like he always does. Before I know it, Alan and I are the only two people on the dance floor, completely lost in each others eyes. I was so happy that I was spending the rest of my life with him and I couldn't wait to do it either.

After the song ended we sat back down.

"Favorite Couple Award Goes Too..." Emma says

"Alan and Dani!" Jenna and Sasha both exclaim.

"Thanks" Alan and I say in unison.

As more songs play we all get up and dance more and more. Sasha and Emma danced to a song called "My Eyes" By Blake Shelton, It suited them perfectly. Jenna averted a couple dances from a few different guys that I knew growing up. And Alan and I danced to every love song that came on. The last one we danced to before leaving was called "Die A Happy Man" By Thomas Rhett. Through out the whole dance alan would sing to me and quote the song.

"You know Babe, If all I got is your hand in my hand, I could die a happy man" He whispers in my ear.

"I Love You" I say.

"I don't think I've told you this, but, I can't wait ro get married to you and spend my whole life putting up with you. Putting up with your little fights with Jenna and your 'Girls Night's In' With Emma. I know you girls will probably keep me up many nights, but I can't wait, because I want you and I want everything that comes with you and that's  something that comes with you and I'm so ready for all of it" He says. I don't say a word back, I just lay my head on his chest and listen to him sing the rest of the song to me. I couldn't wait until Thursday. I couldn't twit to send the rest of my day with the love of my life.
