Chapter 12

********Alan's POV********

It was Friday and had been a week since Dani had been admitted into the hospital , she still hadn't woken up and everyone was worried sick , but the doctors told us not to worry about it because everything had healed properly and nothing went wrong with the surgery so she was fine .

I had been staying with her every night just in case she woke up and while I went to dance rehearsals a nurse would stay with her and text me if she woke up .

Today it was just me with her while everyone else had last minute practices . I was sitting on the bed they put in her room for me and got on my laptop to watch something on Netflix , I chose to watch Grey's Anatomy because that was Mine and Dani's favorite show to watch together . I sat and watched it for about two hours but then got bored so I just sat and held her hand and talked to her

"Hey babe , It's me again , I just watched our favorite show and ... I was thinking about the first time we ever watched it together , It was the first day I tried to kiss you and you got mad at me for it , thinking about it now I wish I just went on and did it and didn't let you stop me , I should of just kissed you" I say . Suddenly my heart completely stopped

"Y-You Sh -Should Have"

"Dani?! Did you just talk!?"

"A-Al-Alan" She mumbled

"Dani! , Hold on babe let me get a doctor" I say and run out of the room .

**********Danielle's POV********

I moved my hands and feet slowly and tried to remember what had happened to me , that's when Alan and the doctor came in

"Well , Well , How are you feeling" Doctor Campbell asked

"My-My Neck hurts" I say

"I think I can do something about that" He says "I'll be back in a few minutes with some pain meds"

"Thanks Doctor" Alan says as Doctor Campbell walks through the door

"Alan I said

"What is it , babe? He asks

"I got in a wreck?" I ask

"Yeah , You had a head on collision and your head head went through the windshield , you had to get stitches and surgery to remove a shard of glass from your neck" He explains

"Did I come close to dying?" I ask

"No , You were strong through it all"

"Only because I had you right here with me" I say

"Actually , A girl stayed here with you for your first few nights here" Doctor Campbell says walking into the room and doing something to my I.V.

"A girl ? Emma?" I ask

"Uh .. No .. Jenna" Alan answers

"Johnson? The girl whose boyfriend I made out with right in front of her the night of my accident?"

"That's the one" He says

"Your very lucky to have a friend like her , Danielle , She ... She was tore up"He says

"Probably because I kissed her boyfriend" I say

"No , I heard her talking to you and she was genuinely concerned about you" He says . I didn't know what to say back so I just sat there and let what he had said sink in , I couldn't believe Jenna was even worried about me at all .

" Doctor , When is she going to be able to come home?" Alan asks

"A week" He says " Next Friday you'll be back with your lovely boyfriend in your own house . I just want to monitor you for a while , You can sit up and walk around if it helps and I'll get a nurse to bring you in a neck brace"
