Dancing Away With My Heart

Chapter 26

***One Month Later***

It was March 16th. Alan and I had been married for a month now and everything was perfect. Today Alan was going in to rehearsal for season 24 of dancing with the stars. I  had a doctors appointment today for my yesrly checkup so I told him that I would be there tomato rehearse with him. This season, Alan, Keo, and Val were the male troupe members and Hayley, Brittany, and I were the female troupe members, Since Jenna was pregnant Hayley was going to step in for her. We were starting this season on April 3rd. We were getting sort of a late start with this season.

When I got back to the house from my checkup I went inside and only to find Jenna raiding Alan's secret chocolate stash.

"I didn't know you'd be here" She said breaking off a piece of a Hershey bar and eating it. "Why aren't you at rehearsals?"

"Im not gonna be a troupe member this season" I say standing in front of her.

"What?!" She exclaims. "Why not? You could be the best one this season and your not even gonna do it now?".

"I cant" I say.

"Yes you can" She says.

"I can't, because in the middle of the season...my stomach is gonna be as big as yours" I say. Her face goes blank and her mouth forms an 'O' shape.

"Your Pregnant?!" She exclaims.

"According to my doctor" I say.

"Oh My God! Danielle!" She screams and pulls me into a hug. "Were going to be mommas together!".

"Alan is going to have three kids" I say pulling away.

"Does he know?"

"No, I'm only 4 weeks so I guess it happened in hawaii, but, I'm gonna tell him tonight" I say. "Actually, I could use your help".

"Of course" She says.

"Well, I went out and bought these shirts" I say pulling two shirts out of a bag. "This one is mine and it says 'This girl is going to be a momma' and I'm going to give this to Alan tonight with a sonogram picture of the baby, It says 'This guy is going to be a daddy'. I thought I would wear mine under a light jacket and tell him tonight and get you to maybe video tape it".

"Of course I'll do that" She says. "Oh My God, I'm so happy for you all".

"I-I wasn't expecting it or anything but then the doctor told me today and gave me a sonogram" I say and show her the ultrasound picture.

"I can't believe we're pregnant at the same time" She says. "When are you due?".

"November" I say.

"I can't wait for another baby bersten" She says. "By the way, Do you care if I give the twins Alan's last name?".

"No,They're Bersten's, That's their name" I say.

"Okay good, Now we have a lot to do before Alan gets here. We have to make dinner for all five of us and get ready to surprise him" She says. It was 4:00 and Alan usually got home at 5:30 and we always had dinner at 6:00.

"Okay, I'm going to go call Emma and tell her and Sasha to come over here for dinner tonight" I said.

"Why don't you get Brittany, Hayley, Keo, and Val to come too, Then you can just tell the whole troupe" She says.

"Okay, You start dinner and I'll make the calls" I say. She nods and I walk to the back patio and dial Emma's number.
