Dancing Away With My Heart

Chapter 4

**************Alan's POV************

It had been almost a month since Dani had randomly stopped talking to me , Other than in rehearsals that is , I missed her a lot but it did give me and Jenna more time to spend together . After not seeing Dani for a while I was hoping my feelings for her would go away and they seemed too which made me realize the person I truly love is Jenna but every now and then I would see Dani at the coffee shop or at the studio or even just outside walking to her car in the mornings , Seeing her in those little shorts she has and her bright and colorful sports bras with her hair up in a messy bun made my heart beat faster than anything , I know it's bad to say but it's how I felt and I couldn't do anything about that .

***************Monday*************

Today was the first live show for the new season of Dancing With the Stars , I was nervous but also excited because that means that I would get to see Dani today and even if she didn't talk to me I would still see her and that's all that I really cared about . I walked into the studio and saw Dani rehearsing already

"Morning" I said with a big smile " You ready for tonight?"

"Let's get started" She said walking to the middle of the room and standing in her start position for our Samba , She didn't even say "Hi" or smile back at me like used to do

"Whatever you say , your majesty" I say and walk over to her to start the dance . I was sort of getting fed up with all this nonsense and really wanted to ask her what was up , even though I knew she wouldn't tell me , but, it was worth a shot

"Why have you been acting weird?" I ask

"I haven't" She says as we do the thrusts for the dance

"No , You definitely have" I say

"I haven't" She says again as we finish the dance

"You haven't talked to me in like a month" I say

"I'm Sorry . Okay?" She says . I don't want to listen to any excuses she has for the real reason she hasn't talked to me

"Okay" I say

"Look I've been here for hours , I'm gonna head home and take a shower before the show" She says and walks out

"But I haven't practiced the Jitterbug" I yell to her

"Get Jenna to help you" She yells back .

I sigh in frustration , I can't believe she just left a rehearsal to take a shower , Especially when there are showers here and the show isn't for another two hours . But I give in and call Jenna to see if she'll come practice with me .

Alan: Hey Babe , Dani left rehearsal and I still haven't gone over our Jitterbug , Do you mind riding over and helping me out?

Jenna: No . I'll be there In five .

Alan: Your the best . Thanks .

Jenna: Your welcome .

Alan: I Love You .

Jenna: I Love You Too .

I hang up the phone and sit on the steps and wait for Jenna to get here . As I sit I look around the room and wonder why Dani just randomly shut me out of her life . It hurt . It really hurt . She was basically my bestfriend and she understood me in ways nobody else could . Not even Jenna .

I had been on instagram looking through my feed when All of the sudden I see a picture Dani posted , It was just a a big white picture that had the words "Sorry" written on it . The caption read "Sorry 💙💪" .I knew that was directed at me because those were the emojis that she has after my name in her contacts . I was about to comment on it but then Jenna walked in .
