Chapter 5

*************Emma's POV***********

I had just got done in rehearsals with my partner and then headed over to girls night with Dani and Jenna .

I arrived at the apartment complex and heard a voice I recognized , "Her name is Dani" the voice said , but I couldn't make it out "Yes the girl you saw with me on TV tonight" . ALAN. It was Alan talking about Dani . I walked up the steps more to where I could finally see Alan , thankfully his back was to me so he didn't see me "I don't know , she just ... she makes crazy , im so into her" Oh My God ! "Yes I'm still with Jenna and she's clueless , I feel like a jerk for feeling like this ... but I can't help it , Dani is ... Dani is something special " He says , then suddenly he turns around out of nowhere , he sees me and his eyed grow wide "I gotta go" He says then hangs up

"What did you hear?"He asked

"Everything about Dani" I Answer

"Oh my god , Emma you can't say anything to Jenna" He begs

"I-I won't say a word" I say "But ... Do you plan on telling Dani?"

"I-I can't , It would change our friendship" He says . We walk into his apartment and sit down on the couch and talk about the situation

"I think you should tell her how you feel , and Jenna too" I say

"Emma I don't even know how I feel about Dani , She ...She messes me up you know? She makes all my screws come loose , I-I can't explain it" He says

"But I thought you loved her as a bestfriend , and loved Jenna as a girlfriend" I say

"I do" He says . I begin to stand up and walk to the door

"Well maybe you got that backwards" I say

"What do you mean?"

"Maybe you love Jenna as a bestfriend and you love Dani ... as a girlfriend" I say

"But I just met Dani , how could I already love her like that?"He asks

"Hey , I don't know how love works , but I do know that most of the time you only get one shot to make it last" I say

"What are you saying?"

"Don't waste your one shot on Jenna if you don't really love her" I said , he didn't say anything after that , he just stared at a picture of him and Jenna that was sitting in their coffee table

"You Know , There's a quote that says 'If you fall in love with two people at the same time always choose to be with the second , because if you really loved the first you wouldn't have even fallen for the second' , that's what you need to think about" I say just before slipping out if his apartment .

I walked upstairs to Dani's apartment and knocked on the door but no answer , I knocked again and still no answer , I quietly opened the door "Dani ? Jenna? " I said , but still no answer , I walked over to the couch and saw that they were both fast asleep , Dani was curled up and nestled into the side of the couch and Jenna had her head on Dani's thigh and was stretched  out on the couch , I couldn't pass up this Kodak moment so I grabbed my phone and snapped a picture to post on instgram "So much for a girls night " and then tagged them in it . I say down in the chair Dani has in the corner of her living room beside the balcony and then cleared my throat to wake them up

"What ? What Happened" Dani says as Jenna shoots up off of her

"So much for a girls night" I say and laugh as they rub their eyes .

************Danielle's POV**********

I didn't even realize that Jenna and I had fallen asleep or than Emma even knocked on my door
