Chapter 6

************2 Weeks Later**********

It had been two weeks since Emma told me that she heard Alan talking about liking me , I still hadn't talked to him about it either but boy was it awkward between us . If I was ever late to rehearsal he wouldn't joke around and say I was tardy like they do in high school , he would just say "We have to get started" and we didn't talk and sit in the steps like we usually would , instead he would leave the room on out breaks . I started wondering if maybe Emma had told him how I felt about him but I was always too afraid to ask her so I decided it was finally time to talk to Alan . I walked into our final day of rehearsals for this week , we were rehearsing for a Rumba , which we both hated so I knew Alan wouldn't care to take a longer break today than we usually do

"Hey , Can I talk to you" I asked as I walked into the studio

"We have to rehearse" He said

"We both have this routine down and we both hate it so taking a few minutes to talk won't harm anything" I say

"Alright fine" He says taking his usual seat on the steps , I didn't sit next to him , I stood in front of him

"Um ... Has - Has Emma said anything to you" I ask "A-About me?"

"Not that I can recall" He says , then suddenly he jumps up

"Has Emma said anything to you about me?" He asks . I wanted to lie , but I couldn't

"Y-Yeah" I say and look down at the floor , I expected him to get angry at Emma for telling me but he didn't

"Well I didn't tell her not to tell you" Is all he says

"She ... She said we need to talk" I say , he stands up

"We do" He says then looks up to the platform that leads to Jenna and Keo's studio "But not here"

"Then where" I ask

"Outside" He says , He grabs my hand and leads me outside to his car , we both get inside . I start to say something but the he stops me

"Dani , Please do not say a word to Jenna , I'll tell her when Im ready too" He says

"Are ... Are you gonna break up with her?"

"I-I don't even know , my feelings for you came out of nowhere , I've been trying like crazy to get you out of my head , but I can't" He says

"I know the feeling" I say and look down at my hands

"Why didn't you tell me how you felt before?"He asked

"Because your with Jenna and she's one of my best friends , I feel like such a terrible friend for doing this to her" I say

"Hey , She doesn't know you like me , and she doesn't know that I like you" He says , his eyes were locked with mine again and we can keep it that way"

"So you don't want to tell her" I say

"I won't if you won't" He says

"I won't" I say . We stay there for a while just staring at each other , now that our feelings for each other are out in the open I wanna know what running through his mind . The door to the building opens and Jenna and Emma walk out together

"Why are you guys out here?" Jenna asks

"We ... We were just gonna go on a lunch break" Alan answered

"Do you wanna join us?" I asked

"Yeah , We'll hop in the back"Jenna said , her and Emma climbed in the back of Alan's car and we drove to out favorite Sushi restaurant .
