Akame: Kakashi-sensei...when was the last time you fought a god?

Kakashi: I don't know about you but it's a first time for me.

Akame: In that case, we just have to make it count, eh?

Akame: Just pure strength won't be enough to compete with us.

Kakashi: Well, she is right about that.

Kakashi-sensei disappeared in a flash and went over to land a hit on Pain. Was he enhancing speed by using his lightning release? But what good was that? I already told him that the Deva Pain's power was gravity.

Using taijutsu against such an opponent is foolishness...unless-

I watched as Pain completely negated sensei's attack like it was nothing. Just when I was beginning about what sensei was up to, he signalled me to follow up his attack.

For some reason, the more time we spent fighting with Pain, the more irritated he seemed. But the question was, why was he angry? He never really approved of me being in the Akatsuki but bore with it since he couldn't go against Obito so it should be perfectly alright for him to seek this chance to erase me. So why is he upset? For the meantime we focussed on lightning style attacks and kakashi-sensei's Mud wall jutsu for defense. Through a long drawn battle, we figured that Pain had an exact 5 second recharge time. But the drawback was that Kakashi-sensei was running out of chakra but...at least our plan was working perfectly.

Just when I was about to make the final move, Pain caught me and was steadily pulling me towards him. Tsk...just when I was ready to strike him!
