Chapter 25 : Creating bonds is hard but breaking them is harder

General P.O.V

Akame hardly had missions to do. She was given a break along with team seven. Sasuke was perfectly fine but Kakashi-sensei were still in an induced coma.

1 day. That means that today is the last day...

Akame woke up in her apartment and quickly dressed up. She would have to keep a close eye on Sasuke today. She quickly ran past the training grounds and the academy.

Shikamaru was sleeping in a garden. Ino was helping her mother in the flower shop. Choji was gorging down on his mother's barbecued meat. Hinata, Kiba and Shino were away on a mission.

Everything was peaceful... But it was going to break quite soon.

Akame: I wish to meet Uchiha Sasuke.

Nurse : That's all right. Sasuke-kun has completely recovered. We shall have some final tests in the morning and then he can leave whenever he wishes to.

Akame: I see.

Nurse: Nee...are you Sasuke's girlfriend? You both look beautiful together. You are obviously older than him right? I totally ship mature,beautiful women any day over clumsy, cute girls.

That woman was talking a mile an hour. Akame was looking at her with a stumped expression. It would be horrible if Sakura hears this-

Standing across the corridor was a pale-faced Sakura. Though she wasn't pale-faced for long. Her skin flushed quickly...not due to shyness or embarrassment... But she was positively radiating anger.

Sakura: Akame, I need to talk with you.

Akame sighed as looked over the towering figure of Sakura. In reality she was obviously taller than Sakura but when you compare the murderous aura...it is a different tale altogether.

Nurse: Don't worry Akame-san... I'm rooting for you!

Now that is called adding fuel to fire.

Sakura quickly took her to the ground behind the hospital.

Sakura: Akame. Let's fight for Sasuke-kun's hand.

Wait...what?

Akame: But I...I never thought of Sasuke-kun that way... He belongs to you.

Akame's voice wavered slightly. She knew that Sasuke was leaving soon. After today...Sakura might never see Sasuke ever again.

Sakura picked up on the slight wavering in her voice and thought that Akame was lying to her.

Suddenly a few kunais were flung at her. Akame dodged them. She didn't want to think that way but... Sakura is weaker compared to the rest of the rookie nine.

Sakura was losing her control...she was letting her anger take control. This was making her kunai attacks more and more unpredictable. But they were still quite easy for an assassin of Akame's calibre to dodge.

"Infinite needle rain!"

Before Akame could grasp what was happening, Sakura had leapt high and thrown a thousand senbons at her. Akame quickly dodged it when...

Sasuke came there!

Akame: Sasuke! Look out!

She quickly lifted him bridal style and took him to the side. Suddenly Akame slumped in Sasuke's arms.

Sasuke: What is going on here? Why did you try to hit Akame with senbons coated in sleep inducing medication?

Wow...that must be one of the longest sentences said by Sasuke till date.
