Enjoy.
Kendall POV
I was sitting in my house drinking coffee. It was finally the weekend, I can get a break from those animals. I looked around my house, nice and quiet, just how I liked it, just me and Sissy. I pursed my lips, my mind wandered to Katelyn. She was really pretty, I liked her.
I chuckled to myself, she was also feisty. The encounters we had, had some tension in it, but when I left her house a week ago, we had a nice small talk. I've never been one to be in a relationship, I would just get with a girl and be one and done.
Anyway, I had to make a test for my class on Monday. I started thinking of questions to put on the test. I wanted to do something to Kaylie's test, just see her knowledge. If she finds out her test was different, Katelyn would be super pissed, but I didn't really care, I wanted to see more of what that girl knew.
I made the tests on my laptop and then I made the special test for Kaylie. I smiled to myself as I printed them off. Hopefully, she wouldn't figure it out, so I wouldn't get an earful from her mother. I put them on my desk so I could pick them up on my way out.
I went outside and got the paper, I hardly ever read the newspaper, but whatever, I'll just put it in the recycling bin. I threw it inside and closed my door. I went out to retrieve the mail next. It's just another ordinary day for me. I looked over to my left and saw Katelyn doing the same thing, she was two houses down.
She looked up and I smirked at her. "Morning Ms. Tarver." She gave me a playful glare. This subtle flirting had started last week. Now, every time I see her in the morning about to take Kaylie to school, we always smile at each other, or glare.
"Morning Kendall." I chuckled, but what I didn't expect her to do was continue looking at me. She seemed like she wanted to say something else. "Would you like to come in for coffee?" I already had coffee, but whatever, I'll drink more. I nodded and went over.
I walked up next to her. "Hope you don't mind my appearance." She shrugged. "We friends now?" I chuckled. She shook her head.
"We just are very neighborly, or we have a great neighbor relationship." I smiled at her. Neighbor relationship, that's a new one for me. I shrugged and followed her into the house. She gave me a cup of coffee.
I nodded at her, then looked around at her house again, waiting for her to start some kind of conversation.
"Two cups of coffee today huh?" I raised one eyebrow. How did she know? I scoffed.
"You watching me through my window, that's a little more than neighborly." She shook her head.
"You just had coffee breath when I invited you for coffee." I gave her a confused look.
"So why did you invite me for coffee?" She motioned for me to sit down. I gave her a weird look. What did this chick have me doing? I looked up at her and she sat down in another chair at the table.
"I need your help." I laughed and put my coffee cup on the table.
"Why didn't you just ask, instead of summoning me?" She now chuckled.
"Because, I didn't know how you would take it if I just told you I needed help."
"Since we're all, neighborly, why would I take it some type of way?" She pointed at me and nodded.
"Great point." I know. I sipped some more coffee and then sat back.
"What exactly do you need help with?" She sighed.
"Ok, I have this dress and the dimensions of it, I just can't figure out. Since you're the best of the best at math as you claim to be, I wanted your help on finding them." She brought out the dress and laid it out. "I'm going to put it on and you can help measure the waist." I put a thumbs up and groaned. I really didn't wanna do this, but oh well. A few minutes later, she came out in the dress.
I looked up at her and was taken back. She looked so sexy in that dress, it was a sight I've never seen before. How could a woman make herself look so sexy in a dress, the way she's looking is one in a billion. I finally came back to Earth and began to measure her waist. I got in front of her and measure.
"Keep your hands in an appropriate area." I smirked and kept my "hands in an appropriate area". There was a bit of skin showing on her abdomen and I ever so gently brushed it as I went by. It wasn't much of a touch, but it was enough to know her skin was seriously smooth.
"Alright, here." She wrote down the measurements. As she was doing that, I took the time to admire her in the dress again. She looked so good. I've never looked at one of my student's parents this way.
"Hey, can you unbutton this part?" She pointed on her waist. I got behind her and unbuttoned it.
"Hey Mom I-." I looked up and saw Kaylie standing in the doorway. "Uh..." Oh man.
"Kaylie, he's just helping me get this dress off, I needed him to unbutton the button you did for me." She nodded slowly and went off somewhere in the house. "Thanks for making my daughter think something was going on."
"What! You're the one who asked me to undo your button. How else was I supposed to undo it without making it look like something was going on?" She turned her head and glared at me.
"You're a official mathematician, I'm sure you can figure the answer to that out." I shook my head and watched her walk out the room.
While she was changing, I was looking at pictures she had on walls and the mantle of the fireplace. Lots of her and Kaylie, then her parents I assume. None of Kaylie's dad though. I wonder what happened. Since I'm the most insensitive person you could probably ever meet, I'm gonna ask her. She came down in what she was wearing originally.
She put something on the coffee table and sat down. "So, where's Kaylie's dad?" I sat on the coffee table and waited for a response.
"Not in the picture." Obviously.
"Why not?" She looked up at me and gave me an intense look. I probably struck a nerve.
"Why do you care?" I shrugged, I really don't to be honest.
"You're right, why do I? I don't." She nodded slowly.
"That's what I figured." I chuckled a bit.
"Alright then."
Hope you liked it. Until Next Time.
