Enjoy.
Katelyn POV
I was walking into Kaylie's school. Not because Kendall screwed up again or was being a dick, but because he and I were beginning to get into a romantic relationship. That's so weird right? A month ago, I didn't think I'd be saying this. I went the familiar route up to the classroom. Kaylie was in after school.
It had been a few days since Kendall had talked to Kaylie. I'm so glad she's ok with it, I get that it's weird me being with her teacher, but he's someone I want to try this relationship thing out with. I opened the door to his classroom and there he was, as always, sitting on his desk playing on his phone.
I sat next to him on his desk, crossing my legs. He looked up and gave me a slight smile.
"I didn't hear you come in, sorry." He gave me a long kiss on the cheek, then rested his forehead against the side of my head.
"Well, you're so into your phone." He nodded slightly.
"Yeah, that's true. It's my escape from my not so exciting life." I grabbed his hand and he pulled away and looked at me.
"How was your day?" I leaned on him a bit.
He shrugged, "Nothing really different happened, my classes aren't exciting. I only have those few that get frustrated to the point where they just burst out crying." I frowned a bit.
"What do you do when that happens?" He chuckled.
"Well I bust out laughing on the inside," I gave him a look and he smiled, "but I go over and calm them or whatever." I nodded and patted his head.
"Good boy." I heard the door open and I looked over. A woman came in and she looked surprised to see there was someone else. I looked back at Kendall and he stood up instantly. He looked like he wasn't too thrilled to see her.
"Kelly, is there something I can help you with?" He sounded very annoyed. I looked back at her and she was literally glaring daggers at me.
"Who's this Mr. Schmidt?" He looked like he wanted to punch himself. He gave me a dull look and fake smiled.
"This is my girlfriend Kelly, Katelyn, Kelly." I smiled at her.
"Hello." Now, she looked angrier than ever, like she really wanted to come and stab me with a knife or something. She looked away from me and went back to Kendall.
"I'll see you tomorrow." He gave her a slight wave and she walked off in the tight ass skirt she was wearing. He shut the door and sat next to me.
"Sorry about her, she's the English teacher and probably has an IQ of -9. She means nothing, I don't want you getting the wrong idea. She wants me in her bed so bad." She was a bit of a slut I could tell. I shook my head.
"Don't worry about it, I know that she doesn't mean anything to you." I could tell he was really trying to make this relationship work. Even though we aren't together together yet, I could tell that we would be getting there, very soon. At the same time, I want to take things slow though.
"Are you doing anything this evening?" I shook my head.
"Nope, just stay at home." He nodded slowly.
"So, tell me about this genius talent you have." He chuckled.
"Me knowing math really well?" I nodded eagerly. I was so fascinated on how Kendall could get problems, with the snap of a finger. Problems that would take me about ten minutes to finish. He was a math god.
"It just...I don't know why I'm so good at it, my parents weren't that good at math. It just sort of came on me. Now I'm an official mathematician." I was thinking about going back to school for my masters in fashion. I needed to take this course of required math though, I don't even know why, but it was calculus two. I'm glad I have Kendall, because I wouldn't know what the hell to do.
"You know how to do calculus?" He laughed.
"You insult me, I know how to pretty much do any math." Wow...I wish I had his gift. "But, it's not always a good thing to be such a genius like me. It's really hard to enjoy things. I always see flaws in everything. Buildings, cars, relationships, papers, landscapes, everything, even food." Wow, I never thought about that. "But one thing I don't see a flaw in...is you." Oh man...
I blushed so hard at what he said, man I had to get used to this. He laughed and pulled me into his chest. I rested my head on his chest and he rested his head on my head. I pulled away slightly and looked up at him. He was looking straight ahead. He grew out his beard more than usual.
"Why'd you grow out your beard?" He snapped out of his trance and looked at me.
"I just haven't shaved, due to me being stressed lately." I rubbed his chest.
"I hope I wasn't the cause of that..." He kissed my forehead.
"No, not at all. Just...stuff."
He did look more down than usual. I wonder what was up with him. He always was on his smirk cocky self. He's also been more touchy, like he needs someone to hold on to, to grasp, so he's not alone.
"What happened Kendall? Family?" He nodded slowly, he's whole demeanor fell. I caressed his cheek and gave him a look. "I'm here for you, just tell me."
"It's too hard for me to say and you might think it's dumb, but she meant the whole world to me." Whoa, whoa, whoa? What happened? She meant? As in pass tense?
"If it means so much to you, it's not stupid, just tell me what's up. If you're sad, I'm sad." He nodded at me.
"Sissy died." Oh man, that was terrible to hear. I just saw her a few days ago, she looked fine. Sissy was Kendall's world man, that was his best friend.
Hope you liked it. Until Next Time.
