A Crazy Breakfast

Chapter 5

Jolene's P.O.V.

I was in the dining room with a plate full of food when Sky walked in. He sat down and piled some stuff onto his plate. Mostly food with butter. He looked towards me like he wanted to say something, but he couldn't because Olivia walked in. She smiled at us and also got her own plate of food.

We ate quietly until Sky said, "So... Last night." Olivia shivered, which I didn't think was possible since she was made of snow.

"Stupid squids." I muttered.

"I'm glad we all agree on that." Sky smiled. I rolled my eyes. I used to not care about squids, they were just another mob. I actually had met some nice squids who helped me. I know they were killed by other squids, but I never knew why. Until now. Squids had crossed the line the other day, attacking that little kid. They were going to pay.

I noticed Sky and Olivia jump. "What?" I asked. I only realized that I asked that after I did.

"Y-Your armour, and m-mask just ch-changed colour!" Olivia stuttered. I looked down to see that it was true. My armour was now red and orange.

"Oops!" I said. Me being mad at the squids must of changed the type of dragon I was. Both Sky and Olivia gave me confused looks, they're probably wondering why I'm not surprised. "Since I'm not an enderdragon hybrid, or what might even be a normal type of dragon hybrid that only has one type of element of power thing, whatever you wanna call it, I can change what type of dragon I am. My armour and mask change to match the type of dragon, so right now I'm a fire dragon." I explained. They still looked confused, but not as much.

"So that means..." Sky trailed off. I smiled guessing what he was going to say. I decided I would change to fit his thought.

I don't have to focus on changing anymore, it just kinda happens, usually when I want to, but other things can make me change. I smiled as I watched the colour of my armour change, and I looked up to see Sky's reaction. He hadn't been looking.

I cleared my throat. Sky looked at me, and his face lit up. "Oh my gosh! This is amazing! Your a budder dragon! BUDDER!" he yelled. Both me and Olivia fell out of our chairs laughing.

I willed myself to change back to the type of dragon I usually am, and pulled myself back up onto my chair. "No bring back da budder!" Sky cried.

"Maybe we should get back on topic." Olivia suggested with a huge grin on her face. Both me and Sky nodded, we had to do something about the squids and goofing off was not going to help.

"Did the squids say anything to you guys?" I asked, completely forgetting it was one of my powers. I remembered it when both Olivia and Sky stared at me with shocked expressions. I gave a nervous laugh, I don't like being stared at.

"You understand them to?" Sky asked. I nodded. "Then normal people can talk to squids..."

I was confused. "What do you mean?" I questioned.

"Only team crafted, squid hybrids, and other people who grew up with squids, are able to understand squids." Olivia explained.

"Whelp! I'm none of those so, ya! I think it official! I'm a weirdo!" I declared happily. Don't ask why I was happy. I was just in a happy mood.

"How long have you been able to talk to squids?" Sky asked.

"Umm... For as long as I can remember. I've always been able to talk to every creature." I said thinking back.

"ARE YOU A SPY FOR THE SQUIDS?!" Sky yelled. I looked at Olivia pleadingly.

"Adam. She's not a spy for the squids. Why else would she kill the squids without 2nd thought?" Olivia countered.

"Because she wants to gain our trust so she can bring us to them!" Sky said like this was something normal.

"ADAM! SHE PROTECTED A KID FROM THEM!" Olivia defended me. I gave her an appreciative glance. In return she gave me a small nod.

"Sky, I promise you I don't work with the squids. I'm not a spy. I've been an outcast my whole life!" I told him. Sky looked a little taken aback by what I had said. "Now why are you so persistent that I would take you to them if I was a spy for them? Wouldn't it be more effective to kill you?" I asked.

Now both Sky and Olivia were giving me shocked looks. "What? I know how to fight, and different battle tactics. Most of them consist of killing your enemy before they can do anything about it, that way you don't have to worry. Just like they must have done to the rest of team crafted. Dragged them off and killed them so that you would be angry, and there were less people to fight. I'm guessing that they wanted to capture you 2 as well, but they failed that, so they sent those squids last night." I explained.

Sky started acting differently after I said that. Nervous or something like that. "Adam?" Olivia asked. "What's wrong?" He sighed.

"The squid that attacked me told me to go with him so that he could take me to where they were keeping the guys." Sky paused to take a shaky breath. "Then he said that they would kill the rest of team crafted in front of me before killing me." Sky's voice wavered as he spoke. Both me and Olivia gave him shocked looks.

"That means they're still alive!" I declared. "We have to go save them!"

I stood on my chair and put my sword in the air. Olivia joined me, and Sky followed shortly afterwards. "FOR BUDDER!" Sky yelled.

"FOR SNOW!" Olivia shouted.

"FOR MAGICAL AWESOMENESS!" I declared.

We all started laughing. I wore a big smile, that is until my chair disappeared from under me. I screamed and hit the floor with a thump. It was a small drop, so there wasn't that much pain, but I hadn't fallen in a long time so I had forgotten the pain that came with it, and I was regretting wearing my bow at the table.

I heard a couple other thumps to see Sky and Olivia had both fallen from their chairs too. We continued to laugh. I hadn't had this much fun in a while.

Hey people of the world that r reading this. I heard what happened between Seto and team crafted, but the story must go on! I don't want to stop because I have an idea of where this is going. I won't rant on about Seto cause that could probably make up most of this chapter. Anyways, SHALOM! (that means peace)
