Chapter 17

(I'm not going to say who's P.O.V. it is unless it changes so it will stay in the same P.O.V. unless I say so. This will stay in Jolene's P.O.V. until further stated. If you could understand that you deserve a treat or prize of some sort.)

"What's wrong?"I asked sitting up. "And where's Cake, Olivia, and Brave?" Sky tried to push me back down, but I fought him to stay up.

"Calm down. Their okay." Sky said. "Olivia and Brave are watching Cake."

"Why?" I asked finally falling over to Sky pushing me down. "What's wrong? What happened?"

Sky and Flame looked at each other worriedly, and then back at me with the same worried glance. "A few squids attacked. We all woke up except for you 2. We assumed that you guys would have waken up so we were worried, but we couldn't check on you because we had a squid problem." Flame explained.

"Stupid squids." Sky murmured under his breath and I had to stifle a laugh. Flame glared playfully at Sky before she continued.

"Basically they're all dead now and we just got over to your sides to watch you to see if you were okay."

"Okay then. I'm fine. Can I see the others now?" I asked.

"Sure!" Flame smiled.

"HEY GUYS!" Sky yelled.

"What?!" I heard Olivia shout back.

"JOLENE'S AWAKE!" Sky hollered.

"Good! Bring her over here!" Olivia replied.

"How far away did you move her?" I asked.

"Not that far actually. Only across the fire." Flame replied.

"Then why were they yelling?"

"The world may never know."

"You've got that right."

"Let's go over there. It looks like Sky already beat us to it." I looked across the fire to see that what Flame had said was true.

I stood up and me and Flame just kinda walked through the fire instead of going around. Don't worry. Nobody was hurt, maybe startled, but not hurt. Flame is immune to damage from fire, lava and heat, and my dragon type changed to fire so I was fine.

"Olivia I'm startled!" Sky cried as he saw us emerge from the fire. Olivia gave him a look that said, 'are you serious?'. "What?! Jason isn't here!" He replied in defence.

We all sadly looked around and had a few moments of silence for the rest of TC, even tho me and Cake know that they're all okay, the others don't and I don't want to be taken for anymore of a weirdo. Then again Olivia is made of snow, Flame doesn't get hurt by fire or lava and she can speak blaze, Brave has some power I don't even really understand yet, Sky and Olivia are friends with a sorcerer and a baca, and apparently they knew somebody that was a frog hybrid thing. To top that all of we were getting attacked by squids quiet a bit and we are trying to save team crafted from squids. Actually I think I'm about just as normal as the rest of our situation.

"Can I get up now?" Cake asked breaking the silence. I motioned with my head for her to get up.

"We might as well get moving." I said. "It's basically dusk, plus we're already awake, so it can't cant hurt to get a head start." Sky grumbled in complaint as the others gave me nods of agreement.

Before Cake left to do whatever she was going to do, she gave me a worried glance. I know exactly what that's for, or to be exact, who it was for. Team crafted. She had seen them in the cages. I wonder if she'll be able to interact with the place like I can. I may have only made a metal bar ring when I flicked it, but still everybody could hear it. I wonder to what extent I can help them in the ghost like form.

I turned towards the fire and smiled. My job would be easy for me. I've put out fires with my powers before, stupid zombies that were burning to death loved to hit my wooden home. Lets just say there was a lot of fire. This one was bigger, but it couldn't be much harder to put out could it?
