Chapter 13

Jolene's P.O.V.

Suddenly the feeling of being watched disappeared. This was strange. I guess it didn't really matter because I was so comfortable curled up between those tree roots that I fell asleep. I fell asleep thinking about that prison thing I saw when I passed out in the nether.

The next thing I knew I was back in the prison thingy. Only this time things were a little different. The place reeked of something. I couldn't begin to describe the smell, nor do I think you want to know how it smells. Trust me, it was that bad.

This time instead of going over to the cage with Seto and Ty in it, I saw a cage in the corner with a person in it. The thing that was different about this one was there was a distance between this one and the next occupied one, if you exclude the one that is basically attached to it.

Inside was a guy wearing something that looked kind of like a black track suit. He also wore a weird headband hat thing, and the most noticeable thing he was wearing was a huge green tie. He had brown hair, and matching brown eyes. He also had a beard. Woo! Idk. Don't ask.

He was currently having a conversation with the creature in the cage next to him. The one that is basically attached to the one the green tie guy is in. The reason I say creature instead of person is that it was a giant frog. Maybe it's a frog hybrid. The frog was wearing black shoes, and a white suit that had a nice little flower.

I'm confused as to why they're separate from the rest of team crafted. Actually now that I think about it I don't remember seeing them when team crafted visited the town. They weren't there the day the squids attacked.

I was about to say something when the only doors in the room burst open. Who emerged were a few squid hybrids being let and followed by actual squids. I'll just say they were being escorted by squids since there was one hybrid that looked like they were in charge. Also older than the others.

I walked over to we're the group was. They stopped in the middle of the room, so I followed suit. As I walked I didn't make a sound. It creeped me out. It was like I was a ghost or something.

"Alright class, listen up!" The older hybrid said. Class? What? School for squid hybrids? I don't think I like this. The whole room went quiet, not just the whispering hybrids. "These are members of team crafted!" The hybrid who I'm guessing is a teacher said. "Now you'll notice that we are missing just one if them."

"Sky!" The 'class' growled.

"Correct!" The teacher said. "While we caught the rest of team crafted here, Sky somehow managed to evade us. I am told that he fought back to back with the snow girl." The teacher growled the words 'snow girl'. I'm guessing she's not very popular around them. "They were weakening, and we were about to capture them." The teacher continued. "Suddenly out of nowhere a stranger we have not identified dropped out of the sky and fought with them. Together they held back our forces. We have a few reports of rogue squids being in contact with that same stranger before. That is all we know about that stranger."

The whole class broke out into murmurs. I looked around at the team crafted members exchanging glances with each other. "A stranger helping them?" I heard a guy squid hybrid ask.

"Probably just a recruit, or a snowflake, or some other fan trying to help." A girl hybrid piped up. That's all I heard before the teacher quieted them.

"Now we didn't just come in here to talk about that! We came in here for me to give you an assignment!" The teacher declared. I heard a few whoops from the class. "Now." They teacher began again. "First you're going to need partners."
