"Can we talk for a bit? I'm kinda bored."

You were sitting on a train with Kirigiri and things were starting to get sort of boring.

"What do you want to talk about then?"

You shrugged your shoulders as you locked eyes with her.

"Anything really."

"Can we talk about our relationship then?" Her expression didn't falter as the words slipped from her mouth.

You looked her straight in the eyes.

"But why tho?"

She let out a sigh and pulled a piece of her hair behind her ear.

"I lied."

You tilted your head in the way Kirigiri said was the cutest thing.

"Lied? About what Kyoko?"

"Don't call me that."

You frowned and this point, something was clearly up.

"Why can't I call you that? It's your name after all. Lovers call each other by their names-"

"I DON'T WANT TO BE YOUR LOVER."

You slowly sank back into your seat.

This was so unlike her, she yelled in public.

"Kirigiri I don't understand, what are you.."

You couldn't even finish your sentence as you could feel yourself choking back a sob.

"I don't know why I did it, I thought it would be nice to be something more than friends with you. I fell in love with someone else."

You smirked and wiped a tear off of your cheek.

"You mean your job?"

Kirigiri turned to you and stared you down, no emotion of sorrow or regret present on her face.

This is really happening, and she doesn't care.

"I'm not sorry."
