     He continued to berate her as she stood silently, trying to tune out the screams so that she wouldn't overanalyze it all later. Finally, when she could no longer tune him out or stand to hear him mouth her, she stood up for herself. 

"Stop it!" She screamed as tears streamed down her face. "Stop it! That's all you do! All you do is sit there and mouth me and what I do, and I'm sick of it! I'm a person too! I have just as much of a right to do what I want as you do! Let me live my life!"

"Living? Why? Don't you know that life is just full of disappointment?" He asked her darkly.
"After all the things I've learned from you, the one that stood out the most was that life sucked. However, I'd like to figure out myself if that's true."
      She grabbed her jacket, walked out the door, and never came back.
