We're often asked the question "will you, did you, do you regret it?" We're always asked if we'll regret our choices in the future, but I don't think people realize: these choices make us who we are. I wish I could've had a better childhood. I wish I wouldn't have went through the zits and braces phase. I wish my parents would've been more supportive of me. I wish I could've avoided some "friendships." But those things helped make me who I am, even if they were bad.
So when people are asked that question and they say yes, when say that they would stop the regret and get rid of all the bad things that happened to them, they're saying they would give away the bad things that happened. The bad things make you who you are. The bad things and the way you react shape you. The good things help, but the bad things are what define you. I feel bad for the people that regret their choices and their past. If they're stupid enough to wish away part of themselves, they should probably replace the bad memories with some brain power.
I can see why they would. For the most part, however, I know the reasons why they shouldn't. You'd lose experiences. You'd lose yourself. You'd lose too much for it to be worth it.

PS I think I'm stopping this book at 100 and making another one, but I might make it a little over that. Idk yet,
* would you guys prefer 100, 150, or 200 excerpts in one book??
