As he looked into her eyes, he saw the world. He saw everything that he needed to know that she was the one. When she looked into his eyes, she saw someone that wasn't her future. She saw happiness in his eyes, but the happiness wasn't there when they first met. So that was why, when he proposed, she said yes.

She knew that by saying yes she was giving away her life to someone whom she didn't love. She knew that she was lying about her feelings. She knew that she wouldn't get to live the life she imagined with her true love.

She also knew that if she didn't say yes she would destroy him. She knew that he couldn't take much more disappointment in his life. She knew that she had been his lifeline and that there was a time when he was hers. She knew that she was his person.

She knew enough to know that she didn't love him the way he wanted her too. She knew enough to know that she would try to make him happy anyway. She knew enough to know that she loved him. She didn't love him the same way he loved her, but she still loved him. She loved him but wasn't in love with him.

When he asked, she said yes. She knew it would make her unhappy. She knew he would be overjoyed. She knew she loved him, and she knew that you don't destroy people you love. Therefore, when he asked, she said yes. However, despite her good intentions, it all went down the drain in the end.
