                                                                  “Bagels and Baffled”

Bagel Beanery, Grand Rapids, Michigan, around... 9am

Kat and I decided to take a trip to one of my favorite restaurants in my home town when we were doing a houseshow there for breakfast. The Bagel Beanery held many memories of my childhood in Grand Rapids. Lunches with my dad and brother before going to see the art show downtown. Daaaamn, the art show is something to SEE! Huge paintings on the sides of buildings, statues and sculptures everywhere you look. Some move, some you can do things with, some are made of tea bags! Anyway, fun stuff and good memories. We drove in to the parking lot and started walking to the entrance.

“So this is your like, favorite restaurant?” she asked as we walked up the stone steps in to the building.

“One of 'em, yeah.” I answered, walking past one of the patio tables.

“Huh! Very.... quaint!” she said, walking in to the restaurant, me trailing behind her. I laughed.

“It's unusually busy today. Guess it's because it's the weekend.” I said, looking around at the same structure and design that it's had since I was little. We got in line behind a little girl and her mom. The girl looked like she was wearing a Divas t-shirt. I nudged Kat in the arm and nodded towards the girl.

“Hey! Looks like we got ourselves a member of the WWE Universe right here in Grand Rapids!” she said with a smile, drawing the attention of the little girl with her blonde hair in two big braids. She let out a scream of excitement when she turned to see us.

“Oh my god! You're Kathryn Prince! A-and you're Kasey Angel!” she yelled. Her mother turned to smile at us.

“I'm sorry, she's a big fan of yours.” she said politely.

“It's cool! We've seen a lot of things when it comes to fans. This... this isn't the worst.” I said, motioning to the little girl.

“C-can I get your guys's autographs? Please?” she asked, pulling out a pink notebook with a blue gel pen in the spine. We both smiled and I took the notebook.

“Of course you can, sweetie!” I said, signing my name on the first page. Kat took it and signed her name under mine.

“What's your name, honey?” she asked.

“Lindsay.” she said, closing the notebook. We smiled again and her mom took her by the hand, carrying a bag of bagels in her other hand.

“Thank you, girls. This really means a lot to her.” the mother said. “Say thank you, Lindsay.”

“Thank you! Bye Kathryn! Bye Kasey!” she said, waving to us as she left. We waved back and stepped up to the counter.

“Aww! She's so cute!” I said. Kat nodded.

“I know! Tiny fans are the best!” she said.

“Hello, ladies. May I take your order?” said the woman behind the counter.

“Um, yeah.” I said. “Sausage and Cheese with lettuce and bacon on a sesame seed bagel, and a large drink.”

“Hm. Ham and Cheese with extra lettuce on an everything bagel and a large drink, please.” she said.
