“Final Preparations”
Georgia Dome (Atlanta, Georgia), final WM preparations, backstage area, around... 1pm
“I just don't see why girls take so long to get ready in the morning.” John said, arm around Kaitlyn as we walked into the arena through the back way.
“Hey, you guys got lucky. Three hours is quick for a woman.” I said, dragging my bag behind me.
“Good luck with that, Alex.” John said back.
“Ha Ha, very funny. I've lived with plenty of girls before, I'm used to it.” he said. I looked up at him and raised an eyebrow. Everyone else snickered. “I--You used to like Captain Player over there and you had no problem with HIM being with a thousand girls a week.”
“I feel like that's a little high.” John said, more to himself than us.
“Yeah, but I wasn't dating him!” I said, kinda laughing.
“Yeah, I'm sorry, babe.” he said, giving me a kiss on the cheek.
“It's okay. Just watch your back if you say anything like that again. I'm not a fan of hearing about my boyfriend's exes.” I said as we approached the locker rooms. “Let's go change, Kat.”
“Kay kay. Coming!” she said, coming to my side.
We went in to the locker room we share (we always share one now) and got changed in to our dance clothes. I wore acid washed skinny jeans, a white, ripped (kinda like it got attacked by a shark) t-shirt over a black tank top, and black and white high tops. For a splash of color I added my lucky pink, sparkly heart buckle to my studded belt. Kat wore pretty much the same thing, only with more color to it and a skull belt buckle. We made our way to the main part of the backstage area where everyone was preparing for their matches and segments. When the preview show began, they showed a video about my match with Maryse. It showed me back at the Royal Rumble breaking Melina's ankle and attacking Maryse backstage. Then it went to Elimination Chamber when I beat Maryse to retain my title. And then it went to various clips of our many encounters in the ring and backstage. The finally, it showed our promo on SmackDown, with her slowly backing out of the ring and Eric Bischoff whacking me in the head with a steel chair. Then it showed the thing where both of our pictures are next to each other and it shows what the match is.
“Who will come out victorious in the second ever unification match for the Divas and Women's titles?” the guy on the right said.
“I don't know. As we all remember, Michelle McCool almost made history by becoming the first ever Unified Divas Champion back at Night of Champions, but Eric Bischoff reversed the referee's decision, and then Michelle quit the WWE.” said the guy on the left.
“Well, let's hope that Kathryn Prince, if she should come out victorious, fares well with Eric. They haven't been on the best of terms as of late,” right guy said.
“No ****.” I said to the screen, opening a bottle of water.
“But it has been quite the entertaining storyline.” he continued.
“Aren't 'storylines' fake story feuds?” left guy asked.
“Not exactly.” right guy laughed. “Nevertheless, this feud is more than real as we head in to the final moments before the biggest WrestleMania EVER; from Snooki and Trish Stratus in the Twenty-Five Diva Miss WrestleMania Battle Royal, to a Fatal-Four-Way Extreme Rules Ladder Match for the Intercontinental Title between Dolph Ziggler, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, mask and all, and Evan Bourne, to Edge defending his title against Alberto Del Rio.” he continued.
