The Condo (Chicago, Illinois), kitchen, around . . . 11am

*Kathryn's POV*

So much drama. I'm getting chewed out by Hunter and the creatives about turning heel, Alma's been crying all week because she and Mike broke up, Chris has been at every single show I've been at, and a lot of fan-created drama has been circulating and making matters about a million times worse.

I woke up at about 8 and messed around with various frivolous items and spent my morning being pointless and stupid. Hey, I like my days off to be fun and stupid, is that so bad? However, Alex likes to be a bit more productive than that, so when he woke up around the same time as me, he got down to business doing . . . morning things. At around 10 I got a call from someone I've been waiting since Thursday to hear back from. The news I received was awesome, but what I read online shortly afterwords brought me down. Hard.

I got dressed in jeans, a black tank top with a sliver design on it, and black sparkly socks. I slumped down the stairs as I tied my hair up in a pony tail and found Alex sitting at the kitchen island reading the newspaper.

“Morning, sunshine,” he said with a smile. I walked right past him and grabbed Froot Loops of the top of the fridge.

I sat down next to Alex with a huff and set a bowl down in front of me.

“What's wrong, lovebug?” he asked, picking up his coffee.

“Apparently I'm pregnant,” I said, ripping open the Froot Loops and pouring them into the bowl. Alex choked on his coffee and almost spit it across the room.

“What?” he asked, covering his mouth with his hand. “Who in the living bloody hell is the father? I'm fairly sure I've been good with using protection and all that.”

“Oh, I don't know,” I said with a shrug. His mouth dropped and he looked at me with a horrified expression. Before he could speak again, I continued. “AND, I have to cheat on my husband with a German woman named Elsa AND I have to die.”

“Back up, princess,” he said, putting his hand up. “I'm confused, are you still MY Kathryn?”

“Yeah, why?” I asked, eating the Froot Loops one at a time with my fingers. He looked at me obviously and I smiled. “Oh, yeah! I got the lead role in LA Noire. They're making a movie tie-in to the game.”

“Oh, thank Jesus,” Alex sighed, putting his hand over his heart.

“I question how why they decided to make the lead role female, though. In the game Cole Phelps is a dude,” I shrugged and continued eating.

“So, you're like, not pregnant then?” he asked, looking at me warily.

“According to my humble fans I am,” I sighed, getting up and walking over to the coffee pot. I got a cup out of the cupboard and poured some into it.

“Really?” Alex laughed. I walked back over to the island and sat down.

“Yeah,” I laughed. “Evidently I 'Conceived' yesterday.” I rolled my eyes and sipped my coffee.
